EDDY'S TILE & NATURAL STONE

I bought high quality ceramic tiles at Lowe's, but Eddy's said they could pick it up for me (nice!).  They picked up and installed.  One installer was very experienced and very good.  The tile was laid down well, but a very inexperienced installer did the grout work and it was terrible.  No fixes from Eddy's, so I had to get on hands and knees do make grouting tolerable - took hours.  Additionally, when the installers left, they took my remaining tile - over 2 boxes f8 tiles each - about $350 worth.  When I called and asked for it to be delivered or even offerring to pick it up (really needed same dye lot for any future problems), I was put off on 4 occasions.  On the 5th attempt, I was told the tile had been trashed.  I asked for a refund of the value of the tile, but was put off and then finally told, no, it was my responsibility to make sure the installers did not take the tile and they did not have time to fool with me.\Use them at your risk!  I should have used Loew's installers.  They installed my hardwood floor beautifully with great prices and tremendous professionalism and courtesy!

EDDY'S TILE & NATURAL STONE did a terrific job. They get all A's. They got here when they said they would be here. They worked us into their schedule. They were on time and professional. 

When they arrived they explained exactly where they would start and finish. They moved all the necessary furniture very carefully and moved all furniture back to its place when complete. They were very professional, courteous, hard working and their quality of work is excellent!

One workman was very experienced and had great skill in laying the tile and instructing the novices to lay the tile. However, one of the novices was in charge of the grouting when the floor meets the walls, and he was very sloppy. I requested that the grout that overlapped the wall board in the kitchen be cleaned, but the owner refused to do it. When the workmen left, they took my extra tile (which I purchased for use in the future to replace tiles if needed) with them. 9 times the owner Jackie said she would return the tiles to me, but then she would never show up. I even offered to come to her business to pick up the tiles, but then she refused to ever return my calls. On the last call, she hung up on me.

Received an estimate and I agreed to price and install date. After waiting 40 minutes for them to arrive on install date, I received a call from them that a family member was sick and that they would call me back in 2-3 days to reschedule. I waited a week with no call back. I called them and they promised me to call me with a new install date within two days at the most. It's over a month now and they never called back. I don't know what kind of job they do, but they are terrible in keeping there promises. Also they are one of those contractors that do not answer the phone. You always have to leave a message and hope they get back to you. After hassling with them I decided to go with Home Depot. They did an excellent job.
