Called Dixie on a Saturday morning and she came the same day to look at the fridge. She said the repair would be simple. She charged me for the part and the service call and promised to come by the following week to complete the work. Long story short, she gave me the run around for 6 weeks before I gave up and had to buy a new fridge. She never refunded my $170. Please never do business with this person! It took me so long to write this review because I didn’t want to drag someone’s name through the mud, but after reading a recent review and seeing that she is still treating people this way I had to finally review her.

This company is terrible. Contacted Dixie about fixing my ice maker and she said it would cost over 400.00 which we paid. Then much later she said she couldn't fix it but would credit the 400.00 plus we gave her over another 800.00 for a new one. Never received the new one and never got our 1200.00 back which she promised a full refund by text. She is a cheat and a liar. She didn't tell our credit card company the correct story about refunded the whole amount even though I have a text that said she would.

They came 3 times with a different part and now washer overflows on floor and floods, worse than ever!!!!

"SIR, I HAVE NO IDEA WHY YOU WOULD PUT THIS ON HERE WE ONLY DIAGNOSED ONE PART AND WE REPLACED 2, YOU DIAGNOSED THE LID LOCK AND HAD [Member Information Removed] ORDER YOU A BRAND NEW ONE THAT WOULD NOT SHOW UP IN THE LOCK POSITION. THEN YOU HAD [Member Information Removed] COME BACK OUT A SECOND TIME TO ACTUALLY DIAGNOSE YOUR MACHINE, WE DETERMINED THAT YOUR CONTROL BOARD WAS ARCHING. WE REPLACED IT AS WELL. THE BOARD WAS BRAND NEW, AND TESTED POSITIVE AND MY SHOP AND IN YOUR MACHINE. MY TECH NOTICED THAT SOME ONE HAD MESSED WITH YOU WATER INLET VALVE AND THAT WAS BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE OWNERS. THAT IS WHAT IS CAUSING THE FLOODING AND YOU WERE TOLD THAT. WE ALSO TOOK PICTURES OF IT. WE WERE OUT THERE 3 TIMES TO HELP YOU AND YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE THEIR "MAINTENANCE MAN". WE GOT PAID TO COME OUT AND INSTALL PARTS WHICH IS WHAT WE DID. WE ARE VERY SORRY THAT SOMEONE KEEPS MESSING WITH YOUR UNIT. WE DO NOT NEED TO CONDUCT BUSINESS WITH PEOPLE THAT TELL ONLY HALF TRUTHS, WE NEVER SAID IT WAS THIS PART OR THAT PART. YOU DID! YOU AND THE MOTEL YOU WORK FOR (PRINCESS MOTEL) ARE LIARS. Dixie quoted a price to work within my budget--I paid for the entire service on the spot. Repairman came and did his job. Part wasn't correct, so Dixie said she would get another one and be out the next day to finish the repair. Nobody showed up. It's been 3 weeks today, and the dryer still isn't repaired. Dixie has told me that she or the repairman would be here several times with a new part, and nobody has shown. Our family rescheduled an entire day to fit her schedule, and nobody showed. Dixie will not return my phone calls or text messages. When I called from a different phone (mine died), she answered and said the communication would be better. It was no better. As I write this, I still have not heard from her. At the very least, she should refund me the $45 for the part I paid for that didn't work. We'll see what happens. I would NOT recommend her and will NEVER use her service again. Today, I'm going to the laundromat, for the third week in a row, and spending money that I don't have just to dry my clothes. She brags about being veteran owned. I was with the military for 20 years, and I'll guarantee that no soldier would last in the military who didn't have better reliability than Dixie. Shame on you!!

I called about 8 and Mike was here at 11. He assessed the problem and explained what needed to be done and cost. He has ordered the part and will put it in later this week.
