Bill Nickels Insurance Agency LLC

State Farm was going to cancel my policy because of the roof, supposedly. I had just gotten divorced and wonder if it was actually  because of my change in income / status. The roof is in good shape.
I found Bill Nickels Insurance online in the YellowPages; picking through a list, looking for someone local, small town friendly and not with a big corporate name.
It was, in my opinion, an excellent choice. I called shortly after 5 p.m. and Bill Nickels answered the phone after regular business hours. I told him my situation and it seems he could sense my urgency.
He was very down-to-earth and reassured me his office would be able to help me get insurance quickly without any lapse of coverage between losing the State Farm policy and getting one from him. He calmed me down and was empathetic.
Mr. Nickels lived up to his word.
He got all of the details of my property from me. He had the property looked at. Got me a quote and wrote a policy for me.
They were extremely helpful, prompt, and efficient.
I am happy with the policy. I only wish insurance was cheaper...but most isn't these days. It costs me around $100 / month.
He did say the roof should be updated in the next couple years; but, that it was deserving of a policy - and not that bad. The property is very neat.
All I have had to do for them in the last year was have branches / limbs of trees cut away from the house / roof. They gave me no hassles and plenty of time to complete the task - and readily approved the completed job. 
I am now going to call him in regards to health insurance; his office said he does those types of policies, too.
