Ed's Tree Service

We called Ed to see if he would come to our home to see about 2 trees. We had a 100 foot red oak tree that was in danger of falling over and hitting our home. The second tree was a 100 foot white oak that stood about 5 feet from our home. The red oak was causing problems getting our dish tv, and the white oak was so dangerous that if it fell, it would destroy our home. Ed came and gave us a good price on getting them down and cleaning up afterward. They spend two days on the work and safely got both down with no problem. His crew removed all of the trees and even raked up the leaves and sawdust in the yard. They even blew the leaves and sawdust off my porches. I would hire them again in a second if I needed to get another tree down. The tree was in a garden area that my wife is very protective of. They removed it piecemeal and each piece was either dropped on the driveway or lowered by rope. The entire job was completed in 2.5 hrs and not a trace of tree - other than the  stump -remained when they were finished. We would definitely choose them again.

We had started to cut a tree down with a small saw.  About 25% through we decided that we were injuring other trees near our target tree and should get a pro with a chain saw out to do the job right.  Missy answered the phone, explained they were on another job, took our address and said they would be by for an estimate.  Not to much later we got a call from Ed and Missy and they came by to provide the estimate.  Ed saw how much work we had completed, grabbed our hand saw and made a few expert cuts and less then 5 minutes later had the tree on the ground.  Ed refused payment as our son had invested so much time working on the tree. 

It was obvious that Ed and Missy know their business and know how to take care of their customers.  We will use them every time we need trees removed from our property!

This is my second post for Ed’s tree service. After our
initial positive experience I asked Ed and Missy (despite not being low bid) to
tackle a large tree that had been struck by lighting and was dying. The tree if
not removed properly was capable of hitting the neighbor’s house. Ed and his
crew removed several large sections from the top to reduce risk. The tree was
taken down safely and except for the stump all debris removed. As with my first
experience I was completely satisfied with the professional work performed by
Ed’s Tree Service.

Called Ed's in the morning by the afternoon he provided a written estimate, completed the work, cleaned up and was gone. I called two other tree services several times over the last six weeks and never got a quote from either.
I will use this contractor again if I need tree trim/removal in the future.

We had a very dangerous tree in our yard. It was 80 feet tall. The wind blew it over in the winter time. It entailed a lot exact chainsaw cutting to get that thing down without hurting anything or anyone. They did it in no time flat. Very professional people and I cannot say enough about them. They are insured, bonded and liscenced which I found very important. They also brought me the documents as proof of this.
