One of the things we discovered when we took down the faux siding soffit was that the rafters extended out with decorative cutting on the ends. Many of these were rotten and needed replacement. The roof could have been put on just fine with out replacing the ends of the rafters. However, appreciating that this was a 100+ year old home and that we wanted to preserve the feel of the original farm house. James took the time to cut out new ends in the same pattern and replace all the rotten pieces. It was really the attention to detail and the ability to meet the challenges of working with an older home with quality solutions. It was refreshing to work with a group that wanted to do things the right way and not cut corners.
Description of Work: We had to put a new metal roof on our farm house that was built in 1899. As we tore off the old roof and siding, we discovered many issues. James made sure everything was fixed correctly when we started putting it all back together.
