I contacted Mr Fuller because of a strong recommendation from a friend. I wanted an addition to my dock that included a new roof, 11 pilings, rebuilt stairs and about 350 square feet of 2x6 pressure treated wood decking. This project was to be done in the winter when the weather was a problem so a one or two week project took over two months. That was OK since we do not use the dock much in the winter. The final product looked like what I ordered so I paid him with the strong assurance that if I had any complaints he wanted me to be 100% satisfied because his only advertisement was referrals and he would be right back to fix anything. The roof was very nice, and the framing was sturdy, but when I started using the dock in the spring, I noticed the stairs were a little shaky. I added some wood to brace it which helped a little, but when one of the steps came off, I saw that nothing but 2 inch furniture screws (untreated) had been used to attach the 2x6 steps to the stair risers. That left about 3/8 inch of screw into end grain to hold down the step which was totally inadequate and dangerous. On further inspection I found that all of the steps and about 90% of the decking had been fastened down with 2" furniture screws which are actually 1 7/8" and were already rusting. Although all decking was to be screwed down, they used a few 3" galvanized nails on many of the boards, probably to fasten the boards down that were already coming loose. They also tried to put each screw in as far as possible until either the board split, the screw broke, or the square drive screw head stripped. Right now I have a mess that won't last more than a few years. I have contacted Tracy several times and he always says he will be right over to fix everything, but that never happens. In Tracy's defence, he was injured and could not work during much of the construction, so the mistakes were done by his wood butchers, but I have been disappointed in his follow up. I also had an attempted break-in at my home on the one week end when the workers expected me to be out of town. The police said there had not been a break-ins in my neighborhood in 10 years and asked if I had anyone working on my property lately. Hmmmm
