The quote was mid-range of estimates but his professionalism was evident from our first meeting. He took a piece of the flooring that we had left from the installation to verify that the wood was indeed cherry before starting the job and that the sanding would produce the results we were looking to acheive. He coordinated with our rental agent and waited until the renters moved even though their dates changed a number of times. The work is excellent and they even limited sanding dust with the open balcony to the first floor. Excellent service.

Lawrence was very friendly and easy to work with from start to finish. He had no problem with me finding and providing the flooring to be replaced due to damage by renters. (This house was built in 1921, so the flooring was old 3.25and quot; heart pine, which is a little hard to find these days.) He even went so far as to sand the sealer off of some repaired boards and stain them to better match the old floors when my wife said they stood out too much. And, he very willingly changed some of the repairs to extend some boards so the ends didn't end so close to each other. In the end the floor looked as good as it could have possibly looked. I would definitely recommend him and if I need more flooring work done I'll be calling him back.

A lot of the floor had paint splatters on it, and it had been refinished years ago by an amateur who had left the surface uneven. More recently, there was a patch about 3 feet square where the surface had been sanded off with an belt sander. Tennessee Floor Care arrived on time, finished in the job in the time promised, kept me informed about progress and what to expect, cleaned up after themselves (except for dust from the sanding, which they'd warned me about), and consulted me about anything that required a judgment call (such as molding). The floors were truly beautiful when they finished. They were able to even out nearly all the wavyness caused by the previous refinishing, and there's no sign left at all of the sanded patch. I was pleased with every aspect of the job and am thrilled with how the floors look now.

This company gave me a detailed estimate, a start date, and a good explanation of the steps. They started on the day they gave me. The two workmen were very knowledgeable on the refinishing process and both were very polite. I was also pleased with their ability to repair several "bad" boards in the floor and how well they got the new boards blended in with the old boards. I was extremely satisfied with their work and price. I would highly recommend them.

I felt very comfortable in leaving my home in the care of his crew and left them the key to enter and exit as needed. Lawrence arrived every morning to check out the previous days work. Lawrence was always directly available when I called regarding any concerns I had. On the last layer of polyurethane, I noticed an area that was missed and Lawrence came out the next day and fixed it. Also I had concerns for the future regarding the floor repairs. Lawrence noted the concern and wrote me a new receipt giving me a lifetime guarantee on that part of the flooring. I really appreciated this because I did not feel like having him tear anything out right now because the floors looked great and I wanted to start the curing process so I could get our furniture back into the rooms.

This was an exceptional job, the crew is very nice and congenial. That is important if they will be spending the week in your home working. The floors were all sanded, re-stained and then varnished. The shine is perfect. It is just an all around good job. The owners stops in frequently to check the progress of his crew also.
