I never got an actual receipt. I couldn’t even get them to answer my calls about what color and brand of shingles are up there. Finally, James Bond came and showed me what it was but every time I called they didn’t show anything on file for it. Our insurance company recommended them and it was a big mistake, which is why I went back to them and complained about it. We met with them before the work was done and I had no problems based on first impressions. They called and said they would be here, finally said they would do it in February that unfortunately happened the day I wasn’t available. So I couldn’t tell first had but fall of that year, I noticed that some of the shingles were not the greatest and I noticed that I was getting water down my chimney on the inside of the soffit. That is when I called back and I said there was a problem and they came out tore down the soffit and left it that way for two years. They kept promising they would come out and fix it and never did and then finally they stopped answering my calls. Then I called Servpro and he said he would get somebody out to look and that never happened. I finally called another roofer and fixed the roof, fixed all the wood underneath, put the new shingles on and I figured it was worth it. It was gouging because it was hail damage. My son has almost the same house as I do expect that his has a lot more square footage, and he just had his roof done three weeks ago and it was $2500 less than what mine had cost.
