Loudon County Rental

I rented an excavator to dress a driveway and remove several stumps. They still have their weekend deal where you get two days for the price of one. However, that deal now has a dark side. Even after speaking to three different employees, no one bothered to mention that they only allow 8 hours. After that, they charge you per hour. So, I rented the equipment (about $300), had it delivered (about $300), then got a call AFTER it had been picked up that said I had gone over the 8 hour limit, so was getting nailed for $500 extra. If they had told me about the hour limit I never would have rented from them. Caveat emptor. They will let you think you are getting a good deal, but unless you want to park it in the driveway and look at it all weekend instead of using it, you are gonna get nailed on Monday.

I am pleased with them. I have used them several times. There is nothing I dislike about them. The equipment that I rented was fine. They weren't bad, but they were acceptable and they were nice folks.

I have called ahead to Loudon County Rentals to see if a chainsaw was there and if it's not there they will tell me when it will be back. They are real good about that. I have never gone in there and not gotten what I needed. I have gone in 4 or 5 times at most I have only had to wait for one other person to be served before I was helped.

I never had a problem with them. They are helpful and their price is reasonable.
