I hired Mark Hunter for a home inspection in July of '19. 1. He made no comment on the locking mechanism on the double front doors. The 'flash' latch on the passive door was damaged which will cost a pretty penny to repair since they are massive, expensive wrought iron doors. 2. The Jacuzzi motor in the MBR tub was also inoperable and the picture he showed of it 'working' had no water in the tub. 3. The refrigerator control panel was damaged and hanging loose and secured by scotch tape only. 4. The ceiling projector in the theater room was not working and the repair person said it needs to be replaced, also costing a pretty penny. He made no comment on it so I guess he didn't even try to turn it on. Since it is attached and came with the house it should have been part of the inspection. While it is possible that any one of these things happened after his inspection I doubt all 4 of them did since the owners for the most part were living elsewhere.
