DANNY'S LANDSCAPING

The delivery was scheduled for Friday afternoon about 4:30PM. When it had not arrived by 5:30PM, my husband called the owner/operator and learned that he had forgotten to make our delivery. He promised to deliver the load on Saturday morning between 9:00AM and 9:30AM. Around 9:30AM, not having seen him yet, I called and he hadn't even loaded his truck yet. Eventually around 10:30AM he shows up but with what appears to be half a load. He says, "I brought 4 1/2 yards". What he delivered was which was less than half of what we needed. I told him we needed more but was willing to take what he had brought because we were ready to spread it. So he dumps the load and when we got ready to write the check, he still wanted $145! I told him we only got half what we ordered and he said he thought it was the same amount. We shouldn't have paid what he asked but did anyway. After being aggravated about it for a few hours, I called him and told him again, we only got half what we paid for.
