He was very knowledgeable and very pleasant.  He was very quick and re-keyed about 11 locks in 2 hours.  He was very efficient, pleasant and it’s a small business.  I think it’s just him and his wife and they made themselves accessible to us.  They worked around with our schedules and it was great to work with them.  The cost was less than $300 and I never had locks keyed, so I thought it was reasonable.  I will use them again in the future.

This guy is a safe genius. He knows everything and anything there is to know about safes, new or old. He is meticulous, a perfectionist, and when he left, everything was working flawlessly. Keep in mind, this safe had not even been shut in over fifty years and is well over hundred years old. I am not saying he can fix every single antique safe there is, but if you are searching for an expert, Bob Maloney is your man. I don't believe there is a more qualified safe expert in the Southeast, anywhere. He removed the tumbler and even though it was a tricky piece, he was able to recomb it without issue. He also pointed out some maintenance tips we could use to keep the safe working like brand new. I will not hesitate to use Allied Safe again and highly recommend them to anyone searching for a top notch safe expert.
