It was terrible. With the exception of two areas, everything had to be done twice. The outside of my house was damaged by them during the work, which had to be repaired. Two downstairs ceilings fell in while they were working above it. They sawed off water pipes in the upstairs bathroom causing flooding in the downstairs den. We went on vacation and asked the owner to not have any work done in the house while we were gone, but when we came home a day early we found them working in the house. They had entered without permission. We paid a lot of money for this project, but things just aren't right. They ruined some expensive pieces of furniture (dents, glue got on them). The back splash of the sink had to be done three times. We had to call a different electrical company to fix mistakes they had made. We still have plumbing problems. They have not returned my or my husband's phone calls asking that the work be completed. They still haven?t fixed some of the problems and they will not respond to my calls in the past.

Before the guys started the project, they put painter's plastic down the stairs, in the all the hallways and over all the walls and railings to protect everything from dust and debris. They were very polite and honored all my requests. I loved the fact that they were licensed and insured.

I would not recommend this company at all. One year and three months later they still need to finish and fix some odds and ends. From Labor Day until Thanksgiving we had no sink or any appliances in place. They kept putting us in the back burner and taking on more projects. I feel they break promises when they give you a time frame. I feel that they are not committed to their customers. When they would show up, they would do a rush job on the work. The moldings were not mitered correctly and they stuck them up any way. They turned this project into a nightmare for us.

"THIS PROJECT WAS PURCHASED THRU A LOCAL RETAILER WHICH WE ARE THE INSTALLER. CUSTOMER HAD OWN FLOOR TILE INSTALLER AND PAINTER WHICH WE HAD TO WAIT FOR THEM TO COMPLETE THERE TASK BEFORE WE COULD COMPLETE OURS. WE INSTALLED TILE BACKSPLASH ONLY. THIS PROJECT STARTED ON 9/12 (AFTER LABOR DAY). MY RECORDS INDICATE THE SILESTONE COUNTER TOP (HIRED BY OTHERS) MEASURE WAS COMPLETED THE WEEK OF 10/7. PLUMBER IS SCHEDULED 24 HOURS AFTER TOP INSTALL. PLUMBER INSTALLED SINK AND DISHWASHER ON 11/18. (BEFORE THANKSGIVING). THERE ARE MULTIPLE FACTORS THAT KEEP US FROM A TIMELY COMPLETION. PRODUCT ORDERING, DAMAGED PRODUCT, DELIVERY TIMES, STATE AND LOCAL INSPECTORS, CONTRACTORS/INSTALLERS ON SAME SITE HIRED BY OTHERS. ALL OF WHICH WE HAVE NO CONTROL OF COMPLETION TIMES. I HAVE A SIGNED FINAL COMPLETION FORM FROM THE CUSTOMER ON 4/20/2006 INDICATING ALL WORK INCLUDING PUNCH LIST WAS COMPLETE. I WAS INFORMED BY THE RETAILER ON 2/19 THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH AN APPLIANCE. WE ARE NOT AN APPLIANCE SERVICE COMPANY; THE PROPER COMPANY WAS CONTACTED AND THE ITEM WAS REPAIRED ON 2/23/06. WE HAVE A HIGH LEVEL OF COMMITMENT TO ALL OF OUR CUSTOMERS. WE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED OVER 41 KITCHENS AND BATHROOMS IN 2006. WE HAVE A LONG LIST OF REFERENCES AND PHOTOS THAT CAN BE PROVIDED AT ANY CUSTOMER REQUEST. INCLUDING PHOTO'S OF THIS KITCHEN. WE DO HAVE A PROJECT MANAGER FOR EVERY PROJECT. I ENCOURAGE ALL CUSTOMERS TO CONTACT US WITH ANY ISSUES. WE WILL FIX IT."

RJM Construction does quality work. I did feel it was a little slow, as they would pull guys off this job for another. Overall, the experience was good.
