Hershel responded promptly to my calls and requests. He arrived when he said he would and got the job done in a reasonable time. He cleaned up so well in the afternoon that I couldn’t tell he was there. I used him before for tub glazing and plan to use him again for sink resurfacing. I highly recommend him and his company.

It went very well, Herschel showed up on time and explained exactly what would happen in the process.  When he finished the work, he showed me what he had done and it was perfect.  We are selling our home and this is something that had to be repaired after a home inspection.

I purchased a big deal (as a birthday gift) on August 10th.  By September 21st the company had yet to make an appointment.  I contacted Interior Home Concepts and spoke with Hershel.  He agreed to honor the price of the other company's big deal. Only two days later Hershel painted the bedroom.  My friend was so pleased with the room becaused of the top quaility and workmanship.

The owner of the company was always very professional. When he told me he would be back in the morning he was back.  I believe the owner is a perfectionist.  He made sure his work was top quality.  Interior Home Concepts has completed two jobs for me.  I have just asked them to do a third.  A repeat customer says it all.

He estimated the cost over the phone. Showed up when he said he would. Explained the steps that were required and a timeline. Finished when he said he would and cleaned up after himself. He then explained the dos and the don'ts of the new surface and when it would be dry and when it would completed cured. And for the tub? It turned out great. Thank you.

I had spilled liquid Drano onto the chrome drain mechanism and the surrounding area of a bathtub.  I tried with kitchen cleanser and a brush to clean it up, but this did no good at all, and the drain looked awful--discolored black and brown--and this was just when I wanted to sell the house.  I don't know exactly how Herschel did it, but with industrial strength chemicals and a com-pressor, he made the drain look almost new.  Hershel was highly professional.   He arrived on time, looking neat, and he cleaned up the work area thoroughly when he was through.  I would recommend him and  his company, Interior Home Concepts, to anyone, and in fact I plan to call him to do another job next week.

We had to postpone our initial appointment at the last minute and weren't sure when we could reschedule, but when we finally were able to set a date, we called back and left a message. Mr. Brooks soon called back to say he had an opening the following morning. He arrived promptly and began the job. The pedestal sink had been moved out of the bathroom in order to replace the water lines. He moved the (heavy!) sink back into the room and set it in place, covered everything in our newly painted bathroom, set up the ventilator fans and got to work. It was finished in about two hours, After the work was done, he left everything in good order -- no dust, no mess. when I asked about the strong odor that resulted from the process, he suggested opening windows for a little while, but assured us that the odor would dissipate as the surface continued to dry. He was friendly and energetic and very professional, and the sink looks good again. We actually paid less than the cost of the service. He told me as I was writing the check that he had misquoted the actual cost on the phone, but that he would honor the cost he had quoted and would not ask for anything more.

I really appreciated Hershel's responsiveness, courtesy and professionalism. A pleasure to have in our home.

When we bought our 50+ year old home, we knew we liked the vintage tiling in the main bathroom, but we weren't sure what to do about the etching, staining and scratching on the bathtub. Removing the tub would have been a huge hassle that would damage/remove the tiling we liked, so we contacted Herschel about refinishing it. He was prompt, professional, fast and thorough. The tub (and the sink, which we wound up also having him do while he was here) literally looks brand new.

Hershel Brooks is a class act. He had glazed my vintage refrigerator in past so of course called him for this job. Came out very quickly to give a free quote and when I accepted quote, he went on and did the work then. Very professional and arrived right when he said he would, which is a nice change from most (sadly) in the home improvement arena who you are lucky if they show up at all or even return a call. Will call him for all future projects...A+++

He arrived on time and got to work quickly.  He took great care to cover surfaces and walls in the work area.  He hooked up a fan to pull the chemical smell out the window.   When he was finished, the tub looked like new!!   There was a small area that was not perfect so he returned on the next work day to correct it.  Once again, he showed up right on time and corrected the small area.  The tub requires a bit more maintenance than I anticipated but it does look great.  I would have it done again should the need arise.

He was very professional and knowledgable. We were having him do one tub, however; after seeing the tub when he was done with it we had him do a second one. He was very neat and cleaned up after the job was done. We are probably going to have him come back to do another tub and the tile in 2bathrooms.

IHC did a great job on our bathrooms:
1. IHC refinished a cast iron tub. The tub was refinished abut 10 years ago (prior to us buying the house) and the finish was starting to peel. Hershel and team resurfaced the tub and the finish is very smooth.
2. IHC resurfaced an old tile floor. The floor was in bad shape (grout flaking off, tile was slightly uneven). Hershel put down several coats of finish until the floor was to my satisfaction. The floor is now bright white and smooth - best of all the grout is entirely covered and maintenance free.
3. IHC deep cleaned and sealed the wall tile and floor tile in our main bathroom. The tile and grout is 70 years old. It looks bright and clean now.
I highly recommend IHC. The owner, Hershel, is very responsive and answered all calls and questions promptly.

I hired Interior home concepts to refinish a porcelain kitchen sink, based upon strong positive reviews I found on Angie's list.  The price was average but the Angie's list reviews sold me.  I called owner Hershel Brooks for a quote and scheduled a time for him to pick the sink up. When Hershel brought the refinished sink back, it looked great.  However, the invoice included a $25.00 pickup & delivery charge.  After mentioning there was no discussion of a delivery charge in the original quote, Hershel grudgingly removed the charge. 
The sink looked great for about 3 months.  My wife and I noticed rust rings beginning around both drains. I called
Hershel, who wasn't happy about it, but agreed to refinish the sink at no charge. This time the finish was uneven, with drips of epoxy left in the basin of the left side sink and a rough surface throughout the finish. I was told this was normal, and that using turtle wax to buff out the finish would fix the problem. It didn't.
After another 3 months, the sink is rusting around the drains even worse than the first time. The epoxy is cracking and peeling up in several places, and lifting up around the drains.  I've called Hershel several times to request help fixing the problem, but after multiple messages, I still haven't heard back from the owner.
Hershel claims that he warranties his work.  What happened?  Every Angie's list review of Interior Home Concepts  gives this company an A.  I'm disappointed that this sink refinishing didn't even last six months.

The resurfacing went great! Hershel and company showed up on time, came in, did their work in a quick and professional manner, and then went on about their day. They were in and out in (probably) under 4 hours and my tub looks brand new! I would definitely hire Hershel and his crew again.

Did a good job, but paint pealed a couple of months later.  They came back out and refininshed.  Has held up so far.

Hershel makes it easy to communicate with him by phone and email.  We received a quote after emailing pics.  Hershel came to the house using directions we provided by email and found the key we had hidden, but due to a miscommunication on both our parts, he did not call me to meet him as I desired.  Consequenty, the calking and a splash was not removed as I had wanted.  After receiving the invoice, I inspected the work and emailed Hershel that the new calking was not to my satisfaction.  Hershel was very concerned and prompty send a technician to completely redo that part of the job. The tub looks good as new.  This company is clearly one that cares that their work is done to your satisfaction. I would definitely hire him again.
