The crew including the owner and son and maybe 3 others showed up on time and got to work. They discovered that the concrete block at the top had been capped already so they deducted for labor and materials that were not used for that task. They used air sealing foam or caulking around plumbing and electrical wiring in the floor and walls. They sealed around ducts that go through the side walls of the garage and applied caulk weather stripping along gaps around the garage doors. They stapled netting to the floor trusses and dense packed between the trusses using cellulose which has an r-35 rating.
The job took around 9 hours. All crew members were polite and professional. All questions were answered to our satisfaction. They cleaned up after themselves and were careful about staying off the lawn while moving their truck and vans. We are very pleased with the outcome and were able to turn down our thermostat 4 degrees. We received an Angie's List discount and expect to get an energy tax credit.
Responded promptly and came to the house and diagnosed the problem. He said he filled up the freon level and this would hold me till he ordered the replacement coil. I asked him what the cost would be and he stated a couple hundred dollars for labor and freon. He told me he would call as soon as the part came in.Starting in DecemberI noticed my power bill was a little more than normal bit thought nothing of it due to very cold weather. When the bill came the first of January it was double the previous year. I immediately called Aire Today because I realized the freon had all seeped out and had not heard from them in over 3 months. He stated the part was in and would come fix it that day. He did come fix it and left me the bill on my door as I was not home that day. Once arriving at home I looked over the bill and it was for $695.00! I waited a few weeks and received another bill from them for services rendered. At that point I called and spoke to his wife And explained to her because he had not followed through with calling me back when the part came in I had to powebills that exceeded $300 over my normal bills and would like the amount removed from the balance. She did not understand how this was their fault and refused to do so so I asked her to have him call me to discuss. I waited for 2 weeks and never got a call back. I paid the bill and explained that ones reputation is worth far more than a little money. I would not use again under any circumstances!
"I am sorry that you are dissatisfied with our service. We try to please and accommodate our customers within reason. At the time of the first call out. We did fill your coil with freon to get you by. As we know the cold season was quickly approaching but we didn't want to leave you without any A/C or Heat. A couple of factors played into the length of our coil replacement. Both which we had no control over. 1. It took 7 weeks for your coil to arrive at the supply house. When we finally did get it, as you well know the temps. dropped quickly here. 2. In cases like that, we put customers with NO heat at all first. For that, I am sorry for the inconvenience. Regarding the charge: You were actually charged less than the quote given. Which was not just a couple of hundred dollars. You didn't know this but we absorbed the $100.00 handling fee that the supply house charges for warranty items. In addition to that, we also waived the $79.00 diagnostic fee for the original call out. As much as we would like to give services away, that is just not logical. I understand your power bill issues as ours were equally as high. Once again, I am sorry for your frustrations. Sincerely, Aire Today"

"I am so very sorry for your bad experience [member name removed]. However, our records indicate that our last visit to your home was in December 2003. It was through American Home Shield and we replaced a gas valve for the heating side of your system. Our company has never serviced the cooling side of your system."
"Thank you [member name removed] for the nice rating. We appreciate your business."
"Thank you for the kind words about our company and service. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us to others."
"Cleaning coils and filters are both part of our 25 point maintenance inspection. Also, I am not showing by our records that we were at your home in 2011. Thank you for the kind words and rating."
"That you for the positive feedback on our company and services. We strive to make it one of the best service experiences you have to have."
"Thank you for the positive feed back on our company. We strive to give you the most pleasant experience possible in our industry. Regard the non professional dress and not being able to see the names. Being that your service was in March, the weather may have had something to do with that. Once again, thank you."
"Thank you [member name removed] for the kind words about our service and technician. I am a bit perplexed with the quality rating because of your comments. Once again, thank you for allowing us to serve you."
"Thank you [member name removed] for giving us the opportunity to serve you."
Chris and another worker arrived within 30 minutes of when he said they would arrive. He actually called saying he was going to be a little late because some of the materials were in an open trailer and it was sprinkling rain. They worked at least 8 hours for three straight days to complete the work. They completed all the work noted above. Further, to receive a rebate from TVA, I have to have a re-inspection by TVA. Chris will plan to be here and review what he did. He took pictures of the work he did in areas that are now covered.
Both Chris and his associate were very professional and took care of my home. Upon entering my home they put on and took off shoe covers each and every time. They kept the doors to the attic closed even though it was very hot one of the days to minimize the noise and any dust. They covered the carpet with carpet protection tape. Upon completion of the work, they cleaned up all their stuff, vacuumed the carpet.
"Thank you [member name removed] for the kind review. We appreciate your business."
"We appreciate the kind words [member name removed] and appreciate you contacting us to give a quote. If we can be of further assistance, please don't hesitate to call. Once again, thank you."
"Thank you once again [member name removed], it was a pleasure working for you."
"Thank you for your feed back, it is greatly appreciated. We pride ourselves on being the best at what we do so that you can rest knowing you made the best decision for your HVAC and Cellulose needs. Thanks once again."
