He did an excellent job, Quick, efficient and clean. A bit expensive but with the quality and their expertise it was great.

He fixed it. Last year he fixed the sewer line from my laundry room, did a very good job.

Assumed I needed a replacement hot water heater but it was repaired successfully with one part for a reasonable price (new thermocouple). Overall I was very pleased.

I called.  We set a date and time.  He came.  He fixed the toilet.
Since the last service by this provider, I have called on other occasions and set a date/time for service.  On the first occasion when the provider did not show, I called back to find out that the provider had been called out on an emergency call.  I did not mind that, after all I also have had a plumbing emergency.  I was, however,  disappointed by the fact there was no call to advise me of the provider's preoccupation with the emergency.  Another appointment (date/time) was set for the work I required.  The appointment was set for the following week.  Again, I waited for the provider to show up.  Again, when I called I was told that the provider was attending to an emergency plumbing situation.  So I asked that the provider call to arrange a time to arrange for service.  I'm still waiting for that call.
My relationship with Williamson Plumbing goes back to the mid-1980's when I lived in the Karns area of Knoxville, TN.  At that time, the provider's father owned the business and his son (the current provider) worked with him - learning the trade.  I have used Williamson plumbing over the years several times as the need arose.  I've not had any previous experiences of a poor (or no) response for service.  The whole 2014 experience, as described above, baffles me!

You cannot find a better plumber in Knoxville.  I had several estimates for a large plumbing job and his was the most reasonable and least invasive.  He was very thorough and all the work was very well done.  He is very busy and hard to get scheduled, but it is well worth it!  I would hands down recommend Williamson plumbing to anyone needing work done.

They were very prompt with a response to my call and came one day to diagnose the problem and the next day to fix it.  They had to dig up part of the yard to fix it and once they were done you couldn't even tell the yard was dug up.  They were very professional and courteous.  I would recommend them to others and would use them again.

Only one person came out and it took a couple of hours.  He had to get a backhoe and come back.  They filled it back in.  They explained to my husband what they were going to do and how they did it.  They replaced it with a different type of pipe that is designed for cold.  They did a great job.  They came over quickly, they are straightforward and are very competent.  I'd tell my friends to hire them because they are reasonably priced and won't make you feel like an idiot.

They are very responsible, reliable and trustworthy.  All projects have been completed to our satisfaction.

Both the times they responded quickly. It was not an emergency so they came the next day. What I really appreciate about them is that they are not ridiculously expensive. When he fixed the shower the indicator that shows the hot or cold water broke and he did not replace it. That was not a big deal though as he did not break anything brand new. He was on time both the times he came. Once he came and replaced the broken toilet and he did not wake the sleeping baby. That was really great.
