Winkerson is located in Knoxville. Gladly the owner drove to Spring City TN - an hour and fifteen minutes from Knoxville to personally do the estimate. He was prompt to respond and arrived when promised. Presented his estimate on the spot. Informed us as to the approximate start date and the estimated length of time to complete the job. Provided us with color samples to choose from and explained the process. The do not require monies up front. Payment is to be made on satisfactory completion of the job. The crews are not subs the are Wilkerson employees in company trucks.
A contract was signed and the weather allowed them to start earlier than promised. The workmen arrived when promised. They were all courteous, clean and very pleasant to have around. The worksite was picked up and ladders stored safely on the ground at the end of each day. They kept of informed of the progress and the process.
The gutter install,as expected,did not begin until the roof was complete. We decided to add gutter guards during the roofing process to lessen the maintainence issue in the future. We were very fortunate to have only a 1 day delay for weather. Mr. Dennis Wilkerson kept us informed thoughout the entire process and was easily available for questions we had.
We couldn't be happier with the finished product!!! We are so pleased that he was willing to travel to Spring City to do the work. It is hard to find reliable help for this property on the lake.

Wilkerson had initially installed these screens/windows in 2002. When the April 2011 hail damage occurred, they were no longer using the same bronze material or building the same window style. Therefore, they had to look hard for old material and then create a custom reproduction window to match the other 3 that were adjacent to the damaged one. The windows match and look great and it was not an ordinary challenge for them.

They showed up on time and cleaned up afterwards. Very professional. Easy to work with.

I had them first about 7 years ago and they did a few windows then and they came back 3 years ago for a few more. We had leaky windows and I was trying to winterize the room. They were very easy to work with. They came when I wanted them to and came when they said they would. They did the repair work when they said they would and finished the project quickly. They did a very nice job.

They just did really good quality work. I was able to take a part of one of the windows to them and had it replaced immediately on the spot. I had to get them to come out for the other one. It took them quite a while to get the second one done. I would use them again.

It appears the installation and sealing is a first rate job. The two men doing the work were very nice and professional, and they did an excellent clean up job before they left. The only complaint I have is after accepting their quote and approving they do the job it took more than a week to schedule a crew to do the job.

This company has been around for a half century, and a few of our friends were very happy with the job they did. We really did not consider any other company for this, and we are glad we chose them. One of there people came over to do the measurements, and answer all of our questions, which we thought was very professional. The work crew came over the very next day, and had the entire job finished by dinner time. They did a wonderful job, and we love the new windows.
