Family owned business so you always deal with the owner. Items that are sub-contracted are electrical, plumbing, and large sheetrock jobs (all to licensed contractors in that profession that we have known for 10 years +). Some cabinet refacing is contracted out. We take cash, check, Visa & Master Card.

We are getting my Mom's house ready to put on the market so we needed someone to paint and do some repairs.  A friend recommended Thompson Renovations.  Vince was always right on time, emailed me a written quote and we hired him.  He started and finished when he said he would.  The price was good (I got one other quote - comparable in price).  Vince did a very good job repairing the walls and painting.  The only reason I didn't give Thompon's an "A" rating is because I thought his clean-up could have been better and we orginally decided to replace the back door but Vince ended up just rebuilding the frame because Home Depot sold the size door he needed (they only had one in stock); he left a gap in between the door and the frame, but came back and repaired it.  He was also supposed to pressure wash the front porch, but his pressure washer tore up.  I would hire Thompson's again.  By the way, we saved $100 by removing/installing the face plates, shelving in laundry room and towel racks ourselves.
