The Pool Place

Had numerous issues with the contractor that were not addressed. Contactor also did not leave all the equipment and was told they would ups it to us, however they did not send it

Everyone at the Pool Place was easy to work with. They had good customer service. Their installers kept us posted on progress, because we were out of town at the time of installation. I will use them again when the time comes and I would highly recommend them. Their work was good.

I found out when opening the pool that they had not done the job properly.  A skimmer gizmo was not put in place during the winter.  This device is so the water won't expand and prevents cracking.  They also left some screws out instead of replacing them over the  winter so the holes have rusted out and the screws will not go back in.  The motor won't turn on. 
When I called to let them know of the problems, the manager, John Pearl, immediately started denying any responsibility.  He talked over me and didn't listen to my explanations.  He wanted me to pay them to come out and when I resisted, he very reluctantly said he would have someone come look at the screws only, but would not send them for two weeks. 
I will never use this company again.  I understand that sometimes things go wrong and mistakes are made, but the measure of a quality company is in how they respond.  They failed miserably.

We bought a new Dough Boy 16 x 32 pool from The Pool Place on May 11. They told me installation was about a month out but to my surprise they were a week early. Wes and his crew installed the pool in 3 days which included having to come back some nights in order to finish quickly. My salesman Sam was great to deal with and I look foward to doing more business in the near future with them.

I called them to schedule the opening. They never called me back. When I finally got in touch with them, they would always pass me on to someone else. I did not think much of their customer service, it's awful.

We chose them because of the price and service. It was a good quality product. We would absolutely use them in the future.

Overall, everything went great. The saleman, Bill was very helpful and patient during the selection process. He gave us great information about all of the spas we were considering. Our spa was ordered and arrived right on time. It was delivered within a few days and installed in a few hours. Everything went perfectly fine. Their continued service has also be exceptional. Every time we go into the store, they are helpful and courteous. They take the time to answer all of our questions and only sell us what we need. We think they are a great to do business with.

For expediency I chose to do the physical work myself. When I took the damaged parts into the shop they were quick to provide the correct parts and made sure I understood how to reassemble the equipment. They are always courteous and professional. They don't rush you and make sure you understand everything that is going on and what may have caused the problem and how to avoid it in the future.

This company is excellent. They did a wonderful job considering all the work that they had went through. I was very pleased and the workers were friendly and polite. I would recommend this company to anyone. The price is not bad either.
