The Mosquito Authority

We've been using Mosquito Authority all summer & it has made such a HUGE difference! Mosquitoes love me & I was sick of dousing myself in DEET each time I needed to go outside, if even for just a minute. Since we've had the barrier spray, I've only had 3 bites. I immediately called the company & they did a re-spray at no charge. I think this could've been attributed to the massive amounts of rain we had before & after. Now that we've been using them, I can't imagine not having them. I can finally go outside & garden or just relax on the deck without worrying about DEET or citronella candles....etc. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Recently, carpenter ants invaded the tongue-and-grove wood ceiling above my sun room, leaving piles of saw dust on the floor that had to be vacuumed every day.  I met Denis Laney, the owner of Mesquito Authority, when he came to my house representing another company he owns.  He saw the sawdust and told me that Mesquito Authority could do a one time spray without requiring a long term contract. I agreed and we set up a time for him to come.  He showed up on time and spent about 45 minutes spraying around the foundation of my house and looking for possible  entry points (holes) for the carpenter ants (and other pests).  When he finished the ant treatment, he took me around the house and showed me several holes that needed to be caulked.  For several days after the treatment,  the sawdust piles grew smaller and ant-body parts became more numerous.  Today, there was no sawdust, and only one dead ant on my floor.  So, I assume the treatment worked.  According the Mr. Laney, we will probably need another treatment in early fall.  I am very pleased with the results.  It was inexpensive, professionally done, and very effective.

 I called The Mosquito Authority in May 2011. It took a while and several phone calls to contact them but when they arrived, they cleaned the tank, checked the lines, and filled the tank.
I called them again this year and my call was returned promptly! Dennis arrived on time, cleaned the tank, replaced some parts and filled the tank. (cost $150.00)  It's well worth it to us to have mosquito free summers.
The system works, they have improved their customer service, will definitely keep using The Mosquito Authority.

First off, trying to get them to answer the phone is a pain.  They need to invest in cell phones or an answering machine. They promised no mosquitos for 21 days. If your experience mosquitos before the 21st day they would come out and re treat. I started experiencing mosquitos at day 14.   I called for a re treat which took hours to get them to answer the phone. Once they answered they schedule me for treatment for the 9th of Aug.  I waited all day and NO show or even a call.  I can understand the over demand they must be having but there is a thing as customer service ( call the customer and explain).  They man who did the initial treatment was a professional but the companies overall professionalism is really lacking.  I will not recommend them to any one.
