David was outstanding. He provided a very comprehensive appraisal and we felt the price was excellent given the detail in the appraisal. He was always responsive to questions and was very patient with us. I would definitely recommend this company.

David was not working when I was trying to reach him and so was not available. We decided not to proceed with the appraisal and David refunded my deposit. Thanks.

David was very polite, and professional and we got the appraisal report sooner than expected. Very complete and detailed. He made himself available to answer all of my questions. I recommend them highly.

I searched for Appraisers on Home Advisor. Mr. Landes was prompt to call me; and every phone call prior to the home visit was prompt. He came to the home on January 22 to gather information. The situation was a little out of the ordinary, so he said it would take 7-10 days for him to complete the appraisal. I called him on February 10 to check on the status. He stated that he sent the appraisal to me within a few days of our meeting; and did not know why I had not received it. I told him that I would send him an email, so he could reply to my email with the appraisal attached (in case there was some issue with how the email was being typed in). He said he could get the appraisal sent again by the following Tuesday (2/15). I did not receive it that time either. I have called several times. I never reach him; and never receive a returned phone call. I have emailed several times and never receive a reply. I have checked ALL folders in my email every time; so I know it did not go to my junk or spam folders. On my phone messages, I have basically begged him not to make me have to leave a bad review; and still have not received a returned phone call. At this point, I just want my money back.

David Landes basically robbed me. I was finally able to get a hold of him to appraise my home and he did come out to look the place over. I gave him almost 1 month to send me my appraisal. When I called him he insisted he sent it to me but he would send it again. No appraisal still and now he will not answer his phone. UPDATE 7/2: I rescind my previous review, as David has come through and sent me my appraisal. Not sure what the issue was as far as communication went, but he provided what I paid for.

Arrived on time and in a timely manner. Produced a quality 58 page report (electronically) We had a misunderstanding on the e-mail address that created a minimal delay but not a problem. David made himself immediately available for questions and protected the security of the service by getting approval first before speaking to others about the property.

Our appraisal from this company was completely off. We have a 4 bed 3 1/2 bath home with 2 fireplaces with completely updated finishes on 5 acres with a pool. Appraisal showed us with 3 bed 2 1/2 bath with 1 fireplace. the sq. ft. used in our appraisal was way off as well. Comparable properties used were not as updated as our house yet we were given a value below the comparables. This appraiser gave us a value of $628,000. One week after receiving this appraisal we sold our property for $715,000. Don'tt use this company if you want accuracy and value for your money.

I appreciated the format/detail of the final report. It took about two weeks to get the report but it was worth the money, effort and time. The pictures of mine and comparable homes will really help for future plans.

Very good customer service, the only thing. The only reason I gave 4.5 stars for customer service is his slow response time in responding to phone calls.
