.I had a brick fireplace that looked dated and I wanted a new look that would not involve teraing out the existing bricks. Someone recommended Superior Stone and Cabinets to me and that they had done fireplace makeovers before using split granite. They have just opened an office in Knoxville and currently have an office in Nashville. Louwrens(the owner) came over to take measurements and he gave me recommendations on what would look nice and the variety of decorating options when using various colors of granite. I have trouble making a decision with so many choices (Rianna - other owner) showed me pictures and referred me to a website with more pictures. One picture titled "50 shades of gray" caught my attention and I went with that. The results were outstanding.
