Mr. Stooksbury was referred to me by a friend of a friend. When I first called, I did not get an answer and could not leave a message. I called back a few days later and was able to make contact and set up an appointment. It is a very busy time of year, so I understand the struggle I had reaching him.
When he arrived for the appointment, he went to work quickly. He answered all my questions. There was never a sales pitch to sell me a new unit, which was my experience with HEP and A-1 Finchum.
I was very pleased with the cost. He was very reasonable compared to the aforementioned companies.

I would give him "A"s on all, he's good and where you say professionalism, he doesn't put on a show like wearing a colored shirt with a name tag on his shirt or anything like that, he comes out in his overalls and pony tail, but he's good.  He is very polite, he knows his job and we haven't had any issues.  He hasn't been totally tested yet because we are waiting for the heat pump.  He's private so he won't be wearing a uniform, so don't expect a polished uniform.  He is a very down to earth person.

I have been calling Stan for years; he comes when he says he will. It is just a very dependable service. He also handles the regular maintenance on my gas heat pump. He inspected and checked my cooling this spring for the summer. He charges around $40 per service call and about $40 per hour to do the work. I feel its a good price and would call him again for other repairs.
