Far better than expected! The staff was friendly and understanding, and knowledgeable about our possessions. Communication was excellent, and everything was done in a timely manner. In addition to selling, all non-sellable things were transported to the charity of our choice or disposed of appropriately. The buyers were very impressed with the cleanliness of the house after everything was gone. We would absolutely hire Seven Seas again if the need were to arise.

Will and his team were amazing!  They came in and took over where we were overwhelmed with the process of cleaning out my parents home.  They made the process so easy and kept us in the loop the entire time.  What they did in a month's time, we couldn't have done in a year!  By having an online auction as well as appointments in the house, we received the best outcome.  They took care of everything from advertising to parking in the neighborhood.  When we received the keys back, the house was empty and swept out.  We didn't have to do a thing!   
If your at the point we were, you have to have faith and trust that the person you hire will do the right thing.  Will and Seven Seas Estate Sale did just that.  I would highly recommend giving them a call if you are in need of help!

Will and his wife did an excellent job preparing for and holding our estate sale.  They gave us a good estimate of the time it would take to prepare for the sale as well as our potential fees and earnings.  They keep us updated on the progress of the sale, both in preparation for, and the weekend of the sale.  They were always available for questions by phone, and they designed the best possible type of sale to have for our circumstances.  We had appointments on Friday and an open sale on Saturday. Prices for our items were carefully researched.  They sold everything and left a perfectly cleaned out house.  They even sent me pictures of each empty room after it was over.  I would highly recommend Seven Seas Estate Sales.

My sisters and I worked mostly with Will.  We knew after our very first meeting that if he agreed to work with us, we were ready to work with him.  And we have no regrets.  He was wonderful, professional, and knowledgeable.  Our parents' house was full - and I mean FULL - of over 50 years of accumulated "treasures".  Our father's basement was truly a one-of-a-kind place, with "treasures" covering literally every inch of floor, shelf, wall and ceiling space.  We will never figure out exactly how Will and his team organized and tagged all that stuff.  But they did.  I'm still amazed when I think about what was there one day and gone two days later!  Will was kind enough to stay in touch with us during the sale days, and our check came promptly - just as agreed to in the contract.  Working with Seven Seas was easy.  Bottom line is that they tell you what they are going to do and then they do it.  I would use them again with no hesitation at all. 

Working with Jeanne and Will Kidd from Seven Seas Estate Sales and their staff was a pleasure from beginning to end.  This great sales staff was professional, knowledgeable and organized.  They were accommodating to my unique situation.  Jeanne and Will
were thorough when explaining the entire process from setup to cleanup.  Their artistic display of sales items was creative and setup quickly.  The online auction and tag sale were expertly done. Once the sale was completed they ensured all item were removed from the home and the property was left clean.  I highly recommend Seven Seas Estate Sales.

Seven Seas is the best in East Tennessee. They are professional, knowledgable and kind. It is so amazing to go back into your formerly overstuffed home after 3 days and find not a scrap of paper left. The Seven Seas genies take it all away and leave you cash in return!! Family estate sales can be very emotional but Jeanne and Will can soothe your stress and pain. Jeanne talked this nervous wreck down a couple of times with just a phone call. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!

The entire event went very well. There were many aspects of this sale that could have gone wrong but not did due to the professionalism of the owner/operators and staff. They were very professional and friendly to myself and the buyers. They had a good game plan for the sale and made minor adjustments as needed. The generates a great deal of interest in the sale through mutable forms of advertisement.
The owners, Will and Jennie were outstanding and made this sale possible but beyond that they made it fun. I was able to liquidate numerous items that I no longer needed or wanted in a timeframe that I could not have on my own.

We were very pleased with the services of Seven Seas Estate Sales. We found the owners WIll and Jeanne and their staff to be professional, organized, responsive to our concerns and very respectful of my deceased mother's property and memory. They were very knowledgeable about items and willing to find out information to price if they did not know the value. The concept of having both an online auction for some items and a tag sale for others was new to me and I think it worked really well. Visitors to the sale commented on how helpful the workers were and, despite the sale being well attended, no neighbors voiced any complaints. I would recommend them to help with this difficult and sometimes emotional task and appreciate having been referred to them by a number of people.

We were looking for a company to do an estate sale at my mom's house after she had to be moved to an assisted living facility. I found Seven Seas Estate Sales on Angie's List, then checked out their website. I emailed the owner, he contacted me right away. Will came out, took a look around Mom's house and accepted the job. I felt very comfortable with his professionalism, experience and honesty. Will emailed me a contract, we set a date for the sale, and that was it. The family does not have to do anything - Seven Seas handled it all. Very professional. Their fee is 35% and worth every penny in my opinion. They cleared out the entire house down to the silverware so we could get the house ready to sell. Will kept me informed of the progress after each day's activities (Friday and Saturday). A week later I received a check. Couldn't have been easier!

From the moment Will Kidd answered our call, came to meet with us and estimated what he thought the contents would bring we were treated with courtesy, respect and great professionalism. He kept in regular touch with us during the categorizing of the contents and made what would have been a difficult task very easy. HIs estimate was right on the money, and we received a check within a week of the sale. We paid nothing in advance; we received the balance of the sale once the commission was deducted. I can't say enough about how easy is was, and what a pleasure it was, to work with him.
