I hired these people to install our pool with a 6 wk build promise. It took 6 months to finish our pool. They recommend Earthadelics and it down hill from there. Between landscaping and the owner Jonathan miscommunications and jobs left undone. When the project was finally finished not a single call or instructions on how to operate our pool. We called for instruction on the use and told us we could pay 75$ for a service man to come and show us how to use our pool we just spent 100k on to build for over 6months. These people don’t understand costumer service. The company was owned by their father and now the sons run the company. They don’t care and have no regard for people and money spent. They sale you on their service and you give them your money and everything goes down hill from there. Just run run...

Who else gets to demand a 50% deposit and then earn interest on that deposit--while you are deprived of doing so--and provide zero service or product for that for MONTHS? The excuse of poor weather only works so long. I turned down other opportunities to get the work done, because I'd put down a deposit here. I kept thinking, "surely, tomorrow, or at least next week." I'm still waiting. Do yourself a favor and just keep looking. Don't waste your time--and your money--here.

Not well and not according to plan. Our contact throughout the process was one of the owners of Sequoyah Pools. All went well during the sales and contract process; we got the attention that one would expect. We accepted their recommended partner for landscape/hardscape (Native Design) without question with the promise that they had successfully executed several projects together. This was a mistake. Sequoyah lists an alternative supplier currently so it appears that they are not as happy with Native as previously represented. Problems began almost immediately concurrent with ground-breaking. A one-foot error was made in setting the elevation of the pool and spa. Sequoyah and Native absorbed the cost impact without question but we had to accept that our pool was a foot higher than planned. The higher elevation impacted the exposed height of the pool wall and aggravated the fall hazard on the far side of the pool. Sequoyah omitted a $2000 water feature that was part of the contract and failed to discover the omission until we pointed it out. By that time it was too late. We negotiated a remedy that we are happy with but the omission speaks loudly about the effectiveness of Sequoyah's quality assurance program. I don't think they have a formal program of inspection and acceptance or they would not have missed the water feature. Another example: one of the final steps after the finish coat goes on the pool and before it is filled is to power wash the final coating. Today you can see the pattern left by the power wash step. This would not have happened if they had a proper standard and visual final inspection. There are numerous other cosmetic issues that Sequoyah passed off to Native. Unfortunately for Sequoyah, the look of the finished product gets tagged to them rather than Native. We were disappointed that Sequoyah's owner took no interest in holding Native to a high standard of visual quality. My repeated requests to Sequoyah's owner to come out to our home to see for himself went unanswered. Sequoyah was recommended to us and I'm sure that they have many satisfied customers. Unfortunately we are not among them.

Pool walls were not cleaned, but otherwise it seemed fine until we needed to backwash and the labels on all the pipes had completely faded away. This company replace all pipes when they installed a new salt system in 2014. Immediate requested a callback. Told would be several weeks before they could get to us until I mentioned that their service guys told us we needed to backwash and adjust the skimmers in a day or two. Sent out service manager who marked the pipes, again with a Sharpie (same labeling that had faded before). He had to re-label when he realized he had mislabeled them. Quite surprised to get a bill for $554.11 for opening pool plus $90 for pipe labeling. I called to inquire about the $90 charge feeling sure that when they realized that it had been only 2 years since they installed the salt system, they would remove this charge. Original piping was over 13 years old and still had the labels on the pipes that were completely legible. This was not the case. Called June 3rd. The woman who answered the phone took the information and said she would have to check with someone else and get back to me. Hadn't heard back, so I called again on June 21st and was transferred to service manager. He refused to remove the charge saying "He was not responsible for work that was done before he came to the company". I reminded him that he also used the Sharpie that had completely faded. He told me that I could go out and buy a label maker to mark the pipes if I was concerned about them fading and that as owner of the pool I should have known what the pipes were for! Also questioned why I had not paid the bill. Told him I had been waiting on the promised call back. Just paid entire bill today, and let them know that I would be posting an unfavorable review. I made it a point to be courteous in addressing this situation. Was very disappointed that the response from 3 different employees was rudeness. In the past my experience with this company has been very pleasant.

I spent over $1300 to get my pool up for the season. I gave them carte blanche to do everything needed. Less than one month later they had to come out to repair the circulating pump. Doing a walk around after that visit, there was a chlorinator problem that had not been noticed. Service person came out a couple of days later and replaced the sensor (another $90 service call) and later the same day, the roaming Polaris was detached from the pool wall and could not be re-attached... I'm sure that'll be another $90 service call... I'm quickly losing confidence.
