Their service is wonderful. The reason I bought my Buick is because of their service. Teresa, is the reason I keep going to Rice!

Very excellent service. Gary goes about and beyond any salesman. Calls and follows up to ensure that you are happy and everything is going well, weeks and years later. Tries to get you exactly what you want when you are making the purchase and makes sure you are happy. Very informative when I went to trade my car in that it wouldn't be beneficial to trade in at this time. Sat down and programmed the whole radio stations and Sirius Radio.

The work was performed well, and I was pleased with the auto technician's repair. I was put off by the service advisor saying the wrong model of car when I called a couple of times, and telling me wrong times when it would be ready. I was thankful the car technician seemed to accurately assess and correct the problems.

The Body Shop is very professional, quick and they do excellent work. This is the second time they have repaired collision damage on my car.

We have purchased three vehicles from Rice over the last two years. Our salesman, Steve Tucker, is extremely professional and goes the extra mile to make sure you are happy with their service. He even meets me over in the service department to make sure I am being taken care of. Our purchases have always been stress free with no pressure. Rice has a very good reputation for their customer service.

It's always been pretty good. Although, I think the salesman that I've dealt with for years has retired so I don't know what it'll be like next time around. I don't have them work on my vehicles anymore because they were expensive and difficult to work with. My sales experience with them was positive, but the service department drags them down.

1.5 weeks ago I booked an appointment to have 4 tires that were on hold to be placed on my 2008 Buick Enclave. I arrive 5 minutes early for my 9am appt. today and 30 minutes later (total service should only take 45min - 1 hour) my car is still in the bay. I go and complain since I had an appt, says sorry and that they were just finishing another car. My truck was done at 11am...yes 2 hours later for 4 tires?? Don't bother making an appt because it appears they don't honor them. With 1.5 weeks notice any other shop in Knoxville could have had the tires I picked out available and on my truck within an hour. In my opinion this place has poor service...even after I complained it took another 1.5 hours to complete? The funny thing is, the service writer knew I was ticked and he didn't even bother to get a manager either of the 2 times I spoke to him. (30 min and at the end)

They have a good sales team. They provided good service. The pricing was good. They have a young good staff.

I recently purchased a used car from Rice GMC Buick in Knoxville and had a wonderful experience. The salesman, David Claiborne ( and the entire staff) was professional and personable. We went there to look at a 2006 Lexus RX 400h that was listed on the internet. We thought we were just going to look since it was the first one that was actually for sale that we had seen. I had spent many, many hours on the internet looking at various models and had decided on what I wanted and what I should have to pay.

We had no previous experience with this dealership, so did not have much hope that a non-Lexus dealer would have a good car for us. My first inquiry was through the internet and we got a personal response back very quickly. When we arrived at the dealer we were introduced to a sales person, David Claiborne, who showed us the car and made us feel very comfortable.

We were pleasantly surprised that the car seemed to be just what we wanted. We took it for a test drive! It was great. We then talked with David about price and about taking the car to the Lexus dealer to have it checked out.

The next day we were able to schedule the inspection with the Lexus dealer and David came in on his day off so we could get the car for that purpose. The Lexus dealer checked it out and gave it a glowing recommendation. We returned to Rice GMC and continued our negotiations. We never felt pressured and put on the spot by David or anyone there. We feel like we got a great car at a great price and could not be more pleased with the whole experience.

Like most people, we had dreaded buying a car, especially a used car. I had not wanted to buy anything for several years, but our car had been badly damaged by hail, so it was a necessity. David and the staff made our experience so pleasurable that I am writing this review so others will not hesitate to deal with the car dealer at anytime! Go there, buy a car, new or used. They will treat you well.

My driver side mirror needed replacing and Rice got the job done. They had me in and out in no time and they did it while I waited so it wasn't a big inconvenience to me. They treated me good and did a good job. I thought their prices were fair and I have liked Rice for some time now.

I think this company is great, which is why I have been using them for over sixty years. They are reliable and trustworthy people. I never have any problems with them. I am very pleased with them and if I ever get another Buick I will take it there also.

Rice is my main repairman that I use for my regular check ups, brakes and usually anything else I might think I need depending on the circumstances. To me, Rice is very honest and very compatible with their pricing. I have no problems dealing with them. They seem to be quick and they seem to do a good job. The brake replacement went well and I am pleased that I do not have any complaints about the job at all.

The company did everything to make the car look as best as they could. It took them a while, but I was very satisfied with the work. The employees were all very nice to me and made sure to answer all of my questions regarding deductibles and things of that nature. I only had to pay my deductible and our insurance company took care of the rest.

Rice was nothing but a big rip off in my point of view. I do not understand how they can get away with charging me such a high price, just to have my brakes done. I cannot see myself ever going back to them again for anything else. I mean really, I would have to be a real fool to do it to myself again, after knowing how expensive they are.
