Ryan was the most informed and knowledgeable of the 5 companies I had estimates from. His equipment was the highest rated on consumer reports, and his workmanship and attention to detail was absolutely excellent. He went above and beyond to install the radon mitigation system so its hardly noticeable and didn't detract from the home's curb appeal. All other companies wanted to put a chimney of pipe outside along the house exterior and didn't offer to test the slab substrate underneath to determine suction ability prior to installation which insured excellent removal power. He also sealed all cracks in the basement. Everything completed in timely and professional manner and he left the site spotless on completion. As a long time Home Adviser user I highly recommend his services.

Radon Consultants gave a very competitive bid for the work, so we hired them. The work was done as promised, when promised, and with excellent results. They took an incremental approach, which would have saved money. Our problem was about 70% solved by that approach. By adding additional capability to our radon mitigation sysrem, the remainder of the ptoblem was taken care of at a very reasonable price. Their total price was about the same as a competitorâ s price for the first phase.

We had an existing radon remediation system, and had Radon Consultants out to ensure it was working properly. I expected to have a test run, and Ryan offered to do that. He said it needed to run for ten days and cost $150. I expressed concern over making sure we had accurate test after he mentioned that you could also test for radon over crawlspace. So I asked for a second test, which he did. Then he scheduled a pickup time for a week later. Following that he asked to pick up the equipment a day early. The tests show that we were on no danger, but I wish he had explained why he was able to come early and still have a valid test after he told me it needed 10 days. I expected that it was $150 per test, but I didn't ask and he did not tell me that either. He was prompt, courteous, and friendly.

"I apologize Chandra for not being entirely clear in my initial explanation to you regarding the time frame of a typical Short Term Radon test. A short term test is valid after 48 hours however I try to collect as much data as possible for my customers and we do sometimes extend that time period up to 10 days. Since our continuous Radon monitors grab an air sample every hour the more samples we attain the better informed we are about the air quality of your home. During the 2 tests at your home were able to gather 6 days worth of data which is well over the 48-hour requirement. I also really appreciated you allowing me to come and pick them up a day early due to my error of creating a scheduling conflict the following day. The EPA does recommend testing every 2 years so I would like to provide you with your next follow-up tests free of charge. I want everyone to be 100% satisfied with our services and we truly appreciate your business."
