Very nice people but just not able to solve my problem even though I spent in excess of $1,000 on parts and labor and made at least four trips for the same problem over a period of several months. Still not repaired but seems fruitless to continue since they apparently are not able to do the work and I just cannot afford to keep investing on this older model car. I will say that on the last attempt they installed a $50 part that they didn't charge me for but which, again, didn't fix the problem. Very sorry I didn't go to a dealer first. Given the circumstances and the amount of money, I have been surprised that they never followed up with me to see if the "light" had come back on or if I was now satisfied. Unfortunately, the "light" is still shining.

On 06/24 the A/C started cutting out cooling as it had done occasionally for a couple weeks, but this time it didn't cut back in. Waaay too hot to let it go, so that evening I called and left a voice mail message pleading that they would take my car in next morning.
Next morning, at 7:30 sharp, Barry called and said I could bring it in. I rushed over and they took a little while, about 2 hours, before Barry came and told me that they had found the coolant leak. He took me into the garage and let me put on the special glasses so I could see where the leak was showing with the dye in it. He didn't have the part, but said he could get it and be ready to install first thing next day. He told me I didn't have to pay him anything until they got done with the work.
I brought the car in early next morning, and let them know that I also wanted to have it checked over in general since I had not had it serviced in quite some time. I have dealt with them before and know that they are good for their promise that they will not suggest any work that is not really needed, so I felt confident that would be the case. They did find a couple of other very important issues, so I gave them the ok to proceed.
Although it took about 4 hours, the waiting area is quite pleasant, with a big screen tv one can watch (I don't watch at home, so Animal Planet was a bit of a treat to pass the time). I like the fact that there are Scripture verses written here and there on the floor that are very encouraging, as well as the presence of an open Bible on the front desk. The place is clean with a large rest room, one for men and one for ladies. Barry also helped me pass a bit of the time as we traded some of our testimonies. He is an amiable fellow, though very professional and knowledgeable. I like to patronize vendors that tout themselves as Believers, but, sadly, I have found that few really walk their talk, however I truly believe Barry is the real deal.
I will continue to use Pro Toy for all my automotive needs, and now that they are also offering tires, I plan to get mine there next time the need arises. HIGHLY recommended!

It is strange that if bolts were left out of the transmission that the noise wasn't there from day one of the repair. However, we are not above mistakes or oversights at PRO TOY and if we don't live up to someone's expectations we want to try and make it right. . They replaced an oil pump in my Toyota Camry. I told them whenI brought the car in that I was sure the oil pump had failed. They did not think that was the problem and spent expensive time searching for the problem. They finally decided the problem was the oil pump. They replaced the pump but charged me a very high price for the work. I thought I had found a garage that I could use and but it will not be this garage.

"We apologize that you had a less than desirable experience with us, but allow me to explain a few things on behalf of PRO TOY. If auto repair shops replaced every part that every customer thought was failed we would look like salvage yards instead of repair shops. We have a process here at PRO TOY that we follow which helps us make sure we are diagnosing the correct parts. There are many different reasons an oil light can come on and a failed oil pump is just one of them. I remember this repair and we had over 70 years of combined Toyota experience looking at your car that had never seen a failed oil pump on this particular engine, so with that in mind we wanted to make sure it was not working before we decided to replace it. Secondly, I took the liberty of looking up the labor times again & found the book calls for 5.2 hours to replace the oil pump. You paid 5.0 hours to check and replace oil pump. I also looked up the price on the oil pump and found you were charged $69.64 less than list price. It is also our procedure to call and give an estimate of cost before we start repairs, at that point the customer has the option to agree or decline the repair. I am guessing since we completed the repairs you agreed to repair at the price discussed. I hope that occurred during this visit. We are not saying we are never wrong or don't make mistakes, because we do. We are just saying there is two sides to every story and a little communication on the front end prevents these kind of issues on the back end. Again, we are sorry your experience with us wasn't what you had hoped it would be"

I took my car to Pro Toy on a Sunday night and dropped it off and put my key in an envelope and put it in a drop box. That way my car would be there first thing Monday morning to be worked on. I told the owner, Barry, to take his time. Barry called me on Wednesday I believe and told me the torque converter needed to be replaced and it would cost around $600 and I told him to go ahead and fix it. Barry called me on Monday, March 31st and said my car was ready and the total cost with tax is $561.63. Now I had called other auto centers and they all said the same thing, that I would need to replace the transmission at a cost of almost $3000. To me, Barry is the most honest auto repair person I have ever come across and I will definitely use his services again for any and all my auto repair needs.

They kept tearing our car up. We had a new Toyota. We hadn't done anything to these people. We'd go there and get our car fixed and leave. We paid our bill promptly. They have some recovering alcoholics and stuff there. They used to work on Toyotas only. They've now branched out to just any car. They advertise themselves as a Christian company. We thought it was an honest company. It wasn't. It was terrible. We had to get into the habit of checking our car everytime they worked on it. Finally, we'd just had enough. Whenever they would work on the car such as changing the oil, there would be oil all on the front seat, steering wheel, dashboard, and oil handprints on the interior roof of the car. We would complain about it and they'd say, "Well, I talk to him." I said, "No, I don't want you to talk to him. I want you to detail my car." They'd say, "Well okay, I'll ask him to detail your car." I say, "No, not him. If he's going to do this and I don't even know him, what do you think he's going to do to my car if he gets challenged on it." They tore our car up. We were intending to drive the tires off the car. Because he kept tearing the car up, we had to keep having to go over to Meineke to get the car fixed. We just said, "That's it." When we bought a Buick, we weren't going over there anymore. They were absolutely terrible. Their prices were very high, which made us think they're so high because they're so good. The responsiveness wasn't good at all. When we had grease all over all of our floormats. We asked them to buy new floormats and they refused. They said, "You probably drove in here like that." We really took care of our car. They were changing the timing belt at 90,000 miles and the guy intentionally broke the timing chain cover. It constantly leaked because of that and we would be using a quart and a half of oil a month. I said, "Why would you guys do that?" They said, "Tell you what we'll do, you pay us the amount it would cost to get in there and look and we'll get in there and look." I said, "How about I pay you nothing and you go in there and fix it." They said, "No, we won't do that." At first, we thought it was just one employee, but I don't know what their problem was. They weren't punctual at all. Just to do an oil change, which is maybe thirty minutes, it would take them almost all day. They weren't very professional, either.

I've used them and referred them several times so when my car wasn't running right I took it to them. Barry is always very honest about what needs to be done and what can wait. It had been quite a few miles since my timing belt was changed and i'd noticed the car was using oil. I took it in for belt replacement and they found a leaking valve cover gasket. Even showed me where it was leaking. Since they were changing the timing belt I went ahead and had the water pump replaced, too. I work nearby so they gave me a ride to meet a coworker for lunch who then gave me a ride to the office. Later, I was able to use their courtesy car and pick my car up the next day! The car runs much better and should be good for miles to come. I recommend them to everyone I know.

After taking my vehicle from the shop, we noticed that the grabbing of my brakes was worse, and my husband looked at my brakes and noticed that one brake was almost grinding in the rotor, so I don't believe that they checked them, and I wouldn't take my vehicle to them again.

They seem pretty honest. They told us a couple of things that didn't need repairing. The brake light was on, when they replaced the axle or the CB joint that problem went away. You don't pay for things that don't really need to be done. We got stuff done faster than we ever thought they could. We will continue to use them.

I have used them several times. When people work on automobiles it is a lot more expensive but they are a lot cheaper than the dealer. In 2010 when I had a problem with the position switch, wheel bearings, wheel sealing and engine control unit and for parts and labour it cost me $1200. I paid $197 for the thermostat and the labor. In January 2011 I had a can seal leak and they replaced it and with labor it cost me $127. I had my car serviced at a place where I used to have my car serviced all the time and I always go in when they change the oil. They check the filters and they when they need replacement they bring them to you and show you that they need to be replaced. I had one of my vehicles serviced and my check engine light seemed to be on for the next few days and when I took it back to the place where it was serviced I didn't know there was any connection. I told him my check lights were coming and they told me they would have to change to code and it would cost me $70. I thought I would take it to Pro Toy and he checked it and fixed it and I didn't have to pay for anything. The people who changed the filters at the service place knocked the vacuum hose off taking the filter out and that was my problem. I think they are just a good place to be and I would rate them high. I have been there other occasions where they have done some minor things for me and didn't charge me. I would recommend them to anybody who needs a service. They have taken care of all of my automobiles.

I was looking for an alternative to the dealers expensive 60,000 mile service which doesn't actually do much. The person I spoke with at Pro Toy walked me through some basic suggestions of service to look at and perform. I also needed an alignment, a brake job and a few new tires. They walked me through which tires to get and why. They also steered my away from a service I thought was typical and they said wasn't necessary for quite some time. I have always been hesitant working with mechanics after getting burned in the past, and these guys provided a fresh perspective,
