The technician was prompt, professional, and trustworthy. They were hired via my Homeowner's Insurance Co. but if there is a future need for garage door service, I will request that they do the job.

Could not get my car out of the garage on a Saturday morning because a spring broke. From the time I called them to the time they arrived, it was 2 hours. The technician was very nice and professional, and he had it repaired and working in an hour.

Agent on phone for company when scheduling said no problem, they even have the necessary equipment on the truck to fix if we want to have it done. Repairman arrived, looked at panels, said nothing he could do, recommended Williams Door Company and charged us $50. Also said our garage door opener sounded like it was on its last leg and should be replaced. Called the company to object to being billed for nothing, was told a manager would call. No one ever did.

It went fine because the technician, Nick, is great, but the company has apparently gotten too big for its britches. Its cost for the opener (and installation) I found out later was about $125 to $150 more than than other authorized Lanier dealers in Knoxville. Also, the manager in Knoxville, Thomas, doesn't have the professionalism to return a call despite the fact I have been a customer for several years and have spent more than $2,500 for doors and services. Precision has become an absolute ripoff. Do your homework before you hire Precision for anything.

I called on the weekend and they were not able to come out but came out immediately Monday morning. Very punctual and professional presented several options to me. I ultimately decided to replace both springs as well as bearings rollers and cable. I also went ahead and got the lifetime warranty. Very pleased I have my garage door working again

It went WONDERFULLY! Thanks, Angie's list, for the reference and lead to this wonderful company! I got an appointment the same day as I called. The technician, Josh, was prompt, professional, personable, prepared, and proficient! [a 5-star rating for 5-P service] He had everything necessary to complete an extensive repair and did it in under an hour's time. He also explained the nature and need for each facet of the repairs to be done. I am suitably impressed with this company and their technician. After disappointments with other service and remodeling companies, it is refreshing that the promptness, capability, and high work ethic exhibited by Precision was there for me!

Do not engage with Precision Door. They do not do what they say they are going to do. Engaging with this company becomes a part-time job you do not get paid for. You have to call them multiple times to follow up on your "service", follow up, follow up, follow up. It took a week to have a representative come to my house from initial call. On initial call, dispatcher said someone would be at my house that very day. Ten minutes before my appointment, which I left work early for, the service person called me to tell me they were not coming, but would come when part came in. After five days, and multiple attempts to get someone that can help on the phone, a service person finally came to help. This company uses phone dispatchers, who are very polite, to answer phones. If you have a problem or question, the dispatchers cannot help and have no authority. Dispatchers say a manger has stepped out, and they will call you back. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT CALL YOU BACK. Thank goodness for Siri, I ended up having to set reminders on the hour to call these people back for help, otherwise I would have never had my issue fixed.

Quick Response. Knowlegeable, Friendly, and Professional~Expensive, but necessary repair w/5 year warranty for replacement of springs, bearings, replacement of broken parts, and alignment of bent parts.

It went outstanding. Nick called and said he was running ahead on service appointments. I agreed to an earlier time and Nick showed on time. He had the problem fixed in less than an hour. He had a credit card payment system onboard. Would highly recommend using Precision door service in the future.

The spring and cables on my garage door broke on a Thursday night trapping my car in the garage. Friday morning I called Precision Door and they were here within the hour! All other vendors told me it would be several days before they could get here. The Technician explained all options - repair over replacement - and I opted for a new insulated door with windows - a significant upgrade from my "builder grade" door that I currently have. The old one had suffered a lot of damage and it was just more cost effective (and safe) to replace the entire door. And the best part is they will be here on Monday to do the work! The Technician was able to get the door open so I could get my car out. Just so pleased and thankful that I found these folks.

Jason replaced my single spring with two new springs and he installed three struts across the door, adding strength to stop the flexing in the middle of the door. It works great, at a cost which was just a little over the cost of a new, similar door. Jason was professional and fast. He resolved our problem in one day, and we did not need to wait three to four weeks for a new door.

Arrived within an hour of calling. I liked that they emailed a photo and information on the technician before he arrived. The technician (James) was very professional and knowledgeable. The door is now warranted for 5 years from the date of service.

A day that starts with a broken garage door spring is off to a bad start, but Josh and Precision Door Service turned it around! I chose Precision because of its top flight rating on Angie's List. They earned that rating and this review for being fast, dependable, and fair. Josh arrived within an hour of my call to Precision. He quickly assessed and explained the problem (and the CAUSE of the problem), and gave me three repair options with upfront pricing. I chose to replace my 20+ year old opener while he was here. He replaced everything but the door and tracks in 2 hours, leaving me with a QUIET garage door and a lifetime warranty on everything but the door, sensors, and remotes. I heartily recommend Precision Door Service. I would call the business again, but I doubt I'll have to do so!

He arrived on time and had everything needed to rebuild the door. Put new rollers & springs on it. Adjusted it so it rolled up quietly and to the proper positioning. Also put new rubber weather stripping along the bottom. Works like a new door again.
