PetSafe Village

We boarded our dog with Petsafe Village in August of Last year. The people are friendly and facilities seem to be clean. We did check in on our dog via webcam around the times that should have been feeding times and did not see her eating ever. I am assuming maybe they had her on a different schedule or something. My main issue was the face that a little over two months after we stayed there they hit our debit card for 200 dollars, I immediatly called them after seeing this charge and they advised me that our debit card had accidentally been put on someone elses account and they would try to get it reversed. It did get reversed and fourtunatly there were not additional charged from my bank It makes me very nervous as to how they store the credit card information or how our information could have gotten so messed up. Also another thing we checked with them about two weeks before boarding to verify they had recieved all of our dogs' vaccination information and we were told they had it on file and they could see it, however when we checked in the guy checking us in could not find it. Thank goodness we have such a wonderful vet, they faxed the stuff over to Petsafe Right away. I will not be using petsafe again there were just too many clerical errors and they do not seem very professional.

My dog, Einstein, is a very nervous guy.  We had boarded him elsewhere previously & he always came home with stress-induced colitis, so we decided to try PetSafe.  The registration packet was super long, but very thorough, so I was already feeling confident that he would be taken care of well.

We brought our own food for him, which they prefer to do.  When we dropped him off the desk staff were very friendly & asked lots of questions about medicine & feeding times. A super nice employee took us to his run so we could say goodbye, and so we could check it out.  It seemed extremely clean, and we were thrilled about that. We booked a 'Luxury' suite, so he had an indoor/outdoor run, and we had the peace of mind of being able to check on him through the webcam in his room. I know, I know, I thought that was a ridiculous thing, but it turned out to be great and we were really happy to see him while we were away. 

When we returned, we were thrilled to see Einstein, and were surprised by his "report card" detailing his stay (telling about appetite, nervousness, etc.). He smelled exactly how we left him (no gross kennel smell), which meant no extra bath when he got home! Overall, we were thrilled with the service.

This was a very disappointing experience and I do not know what I would have done if I had shown up to board the dog and been told she was not welcome.

I had to board my three cats (two Maine Coons and one chubby domestic) while I went out of town. I am VERY fussy about my cats' care. I reviewed the comments on Angie's List and visited three locations prior to selecting Pet Safe. I am very happy with my decision. Every one of the staff members that I met was very nice and appeared to be a true animal lover. The facility is very clean and accommodations are roomy, even for my three boys. My babies were a little uptight when I picked them up, but I believe that is because they have never been in a building with dogs. Although the dogs are in another area, they may have been able to hear and smell them (with their strong senses). They also HATE going in their carriers, as that has always meant a trip to the veterinarian, or more recently the ten hour relocation drive from Tampa. This may have been another reason for their anxiety. If I have to board them again, I will use Pet Safe Village.

The price per night was 42.95, but it included everything you could think of! It included a TV., bed, potty breaks, supervised play times, and treats! It also had a web cam which my girlfriend loved! We looked in out him several times through the petsafe village web site! I would never take my dog anywhere else! The only thing better than the facility was the staff. You could not ask for nicer people!

Pet Safe Village does a great job taking care of our dog. The people are very nice and take great care of the animals. They offer one on one time and will feed whatever food you bring if you have a preference. They also give any medication that your pet requires. The kennels are very large and clean.

We were pleased with their service and our dog was pretty comfortable there. They were good about administering him with his medication. They had a very clean place and they had an indoor and outdoor run so he had plenty of roaming room. They had very personable staff that gave the animals plenty of play time. They charged $22 on the weekends and $18 during the week.

Pet Safe Village is a nice place to board my cat. They took very good care of my cat. I like that they have many options available for both boarding and additional services. I felt that our cat was well taken care of and I felt comfortable with him staying there. He's very shy.

We were very pleased with their service. They did a great job with our cat. She seemed to be pretty happy there and she didn't lose any weight while she was there. They had a very clean facility and their regular kennels had a lot of room. They also offered me, at an extra expense, a cat condo or extra play time to keep the dogs separate.

They were wonderful and I would recommend them to the Queen of England. They pet them, give them treats and groom them. They treat my dog the way I treat her, they entertained her and gave her lots of attention. The staff is outstanding, the kennel is clean, and the facilities are great.

This was a more expensive facility but it was very clean and they had good sized kennels. They had more than enough technicians, which meant that my dog got really spoiled. They even had patio decks for the dogs and private walks. It was great.

They advertise and tell you how good they take care of your pets and they give you the impression that it s a really nice place. I wasn t impressed at all, because I m not sure my dogs got exercise and when I went in the back to get them out of the kennel, there were feces and it wasn t clean. They were expensive and I would not recommend them to anyone.

The place looked clean when I dropped off my dogs but when I picked up my dogs after the four days they had diarrhea and they looked wet. I could tell they just were not happy one bit. The owner was apologetic but my dogs were sick.

This place was unbelievable. They had private rooms for the dogs, private walkers, baths, and their own little privacy fence of course. It was very clean and spacious and they did a great job of spoiling the dogs.
