They are not checking the work of these vendors/contractors. It is an inappropriate referral service for senior citizens. I believe the intend was good but it subjects seniors to unscrupulous vendors who may not have permits, and who's quality of work may be inferior. Some seniors are disabled and unable to verify the work, this is why we depend on the organization to verify the work of these companies. This is the very reason we pay the $100 yearly membership.
