An estimate was provided approximately 2 months prior to starting service.  Choose to delay the roofing installation because of a desire to not have the shingles installed in the middle of a record hot summer.  When the installation was requested to begin in September, it was specifically requested a supervisor be on site during the installation due to problems with the last roofing installation.  When the installation began, the supervisor was not present, nor available for most of the installation.  Following installation, a inspection by the homeowner revealed significantly worn areas on the roof where the roofer walked over completed roof. In addition, a low pitch are of the roof was used for a cutting platform and many areas of the roof was cut through the shingles.  Three times the homeowner requested additional corrections be made to the roof until initial payment was made.   Partial payment was made due to agreement with supervisor on the job site that full payment would be made when insurance check was received.  After 2 months, insurance check was received, and attempt to get another problem corrected with the gutters not properly draining was requested prior to final payment.  No action taken for 2 more months.  A leak was encountered in the area of the low pitch roof, and a request was made to have the leak corrected.  The contractor would not fix the leak until full payment was made.  Subsequent discussions resulted in threats being made to the homeowner to place a lien on the house because of non-payment.  Contractor refused to correct the leaks.  Inspections revealed that the flashing was improperly applied.  Another contractor was hired to finish the work..

Wonderful service. Doug came out many times and answered  all questions. He also came several times a day and checked on progress of workers. I have extensive flower beds and pool etc. I wanted a company that took care not to damage my flowers in process of roofing. Oakhill did a fabulous job. The roof looks great and my flowers were left undisturbed. Very happy with entire job. Workers arrived early and stayed late. Work was done sooner than expected. Highly recommend for any roofing job!

I really can't praise these guys well enough. Kevin (owner) was very courteous, and made a trip all the way out to my house in Maryville just to drop off a sample board and info about their product line and roofing service. I got 4 different estimates on my roof and Oakhill Roofing had come highly recommended from friends and acquaintances. Out of all 4 estimates Oakhill Roofing beat 2 competing bids by $1,000 and beat the other bid by $800!! That is real money savings right there - not nickel and dime stuff. For me and my family savings in the hundreds is what we call real money. The roofers arrived that moring around 9am so it wasn't too early and they finished the whole job that day. They were very clean and professional. They picked up after themselves and I've yet to find the first nail or anything of that nature. They're licensed and the work is warranteed. I dont believe there are any reviews on AngiesList yet about this company so I wanted to make sure they got credit for their good work, and just as important I wanted to give AngiesList members a chance to save some big bucks on their next roofing project. Oakhill roofing might also provide other services as well, frankly, I dont know because all I was concerned with was my roof.
