Very prompt, courteous  in returning initial call.  Arrived at job site on time and completed job in a timely manner.  Easy to work with and quality of completed job was excellent.  I would use again and I highly recommend.

Came to estimate for laying carpet in 2-3 rooms depending if I had enough carpet. He said he would call the following week for his availability and he never called. I called his phone left a message and didn't return my message.

Exceptional job by John Newberry! Almost 40 years of experience and strong endorsements from previous customers from Angie's list were the determining factors to contract this professional. Very service oriented, friendly, professional, prompt. His level of service and expertise were next level! Always on time and worked on my carpet project as if it were his own house. Both John and Josh were terrific. I can't say enough great things about them and would most certainly recommend them to my family and friends.

John arrived right on time, did the work in a friendly, professional manner and gave me a fair price. I will use him again if the need arises.

John was punctual on the day scheduled to pull back the carpet and was flexible to allow me the time needed to perform the work I needed to accomplish. He said to call him whenever I was ready to re-lay the carpet and stretch the other area. When I called to schedule the re-lay, he was working on a big carpet job and got me on his schedule in about a week. I'm very pleased with the work John did and the cost was reasonable for making two trips to perform the work.

I contract Mr. Newberry about 10 days before he had available time on his schedule. We set the 15th of July as the date to complete the work. Mr. Newberry was at my home by 10am. He looked at the room and advised that I could either do repairs or replace the carpet. The cost was 175 vs 500+, so I decided to give the repairs a try and then replace only if totally necessary. Mr. Newberry went straight to work and was done in under 2 hours. The carpet looked AMAZING. Like brand new. You could never tell we had pulled up carpet or had the rolls. He also fixed an area where carpet meets hardwood and my cat had managed to pull the carpet loose. Clearly a man who knows his business. I personally think 175.00 was a more than fair price for the work performed and would most certainly call Mr. Newberry for any future carpet work.

We needed carpet laid in 12 bedrooms of an investment home/cabin. Quick. We called John and he picked up the carpet from the provider and installed in 2 days! He asked for a week's notice next time and you can bet we will be calling him back!

He was very nice and very knowledgeable but I think he over charged. All he did was take a small pair of scissors and scrape the carpet for a few minutes as well as snip at the top of the carpet to break up where the melting took place. Granted he drove about 40 min for the service but he could has charged about $35 to be a bit more cost conservative.

John was on time and it didnt take him long at all to do the job and he just charged me the minimum for his service. He was polite and interacted with my rambunctious and curious three year old in an appropriate way. I am beyond hand but carpet is something I know nothing about he showed me what he was doing and we had a pleasant interaction. I would have him back as needed.

John was quick to respond and excellent installing our carpet. He saved us several hundred dollars that we would have spent with a major chain store (and their quote was with free installation and no tax).
We will use him again soon. I definitely recommend him to anyone who needs carpet or carpet repair.
