No matter what state we've been, they've been amazing. Their prices were fair and saved us quite a bit of money. They were five stars, and are our first go-to place when it's a service they provide.

I initially took my car in for an oil change, which they performed without any problems. I was even given a discount without a coupon by the manager working that morning. During their inspection that is included with the oil change I was told that the drive belt was cracked and needed to be replaced. I was told that if it broke, it could leave me stranded. This repair was going to cost $313.62. I was not opposed to doing this repair since my car has over 100K miles and seemed like a reasonable thing that needed to be done after all those miles. Since I had somewhere else to be, I could not do the repair at that time, but had plans to take it back later in the week. A few days later, my A/C decides to quit working. So, less than a week later, I am back at NTB to have them check out my A/C out. They proceed to tell me that the entire A/C needs to be replaced and it's going to cost me $2221.68! Since my car is only worth about twice that amount, I was not too happy. I didn't have any repairs done at that time and decided to think about what to do. The next week, I took my car to another place that a friend recommended for a second estimate. Needless to say, the repairs required were not all that NTB said needed to be done. The drive belt was not in as bad condition as NTB made it out to be and although the A/C compressor did need to be replaced, it was not going to cost what NTB was going to charge. I ended up getting everything fixed for $1000 less than what NTB was going charge. I have taken my car to NTB multiple times for oil changes and new tires. Every time I take my car in they find something wrong with it. And these aren't minor things, they are usually expensive repairs. I have lost trust in this company and I will no longer take my car there.

After having a flat tire, we had to get a new one.  Since it appeared that the tire blew out due to being out of alignment, we got the tire replaced and got an alignment.  Since our brake warning light was on (it would go off and on sporadically), we also had a brake inspection.  They didn't find anything wrong, and that's the problem.  Even after their inspection, the light was still on (sporadically) but they said that may be due to the brake fluid swishing around as we drive and sometimes the sensor would pick it up as low and sometimes not.  This didn't really sound right to me since we've been driving this vehicle for almost 8 years and never had this problem before, but they're supposed to be the experts, right?  Wrong.  A couple weeks after this so-called inspection, my van started rattling and vibrating and my brakes felt like they were going out, so I had to have it towed to the mechanic we regularly use (Cedar Bluff Auto Care).  Cedar Bluff found that a rear wheel cylinder needed to be replaced as brake fluid was leaking out of it and causing the problem.  Since it was repaired by Cedar Bluff, the warning light has not come back on and I've not had any more trouble driving it.  It's just VERY frustrating that we paid for an inspection and they didn't find the problem.  We called them after we found out the real problem, but they said that doesn't mean the problem existed when they saw it.  I find that very hard to believe considering the warning light was on when we took it to them, then after we took it to Cedar Bluff and got it fixed, the the warning light hasn't ever come on again.  It's an independent variable, and they didn't find the problem and didn't reimburse us for the failed inspection.  They said they have a motivation to find things to get paid more, so I understand that, but apparently having that motivation didn't make up for their incompetence during our inspection.
Also, when we had our tires rotated and balanced when we got it fixed at Cedar Bluff Auto Care, they said it didn't look like there were any new tires on it (it was only a couple weeks later), so now I'm wondering if NTB really even gave us a new tire.  Would not go here again.

Excellent service. Mechanic showed me the problem with oil pan and serpentine belt. After job was done, manager gave me a free oil change certificate for my next service. Impressed with this auto shop!

NTB tried to convenience me that it was a "serious" problem and that I shouldn't drive my car until it was fixed.  They quoted almost $1,000 to complete the repair.  I will not use them again.

I've been to NTB a few times. The quality of product and installation at NTB is very good. I've had really mixed results with sales staff in the past and looked to buy my tires somewhere else. However, in the interest of convenience, I once again went with NTB. The salesman this time was very good, showing different tire options and explaining each, helping me pick which would be best for me. It it important to note that once your car is in the shop, they will *always* find more problems with it and suggest extra work that might not needed. I've heard this from many people, and have experienced this first-hand -- this time was no different. Also, they try to sell extra options like 3-year balance, rotate and road hazard protection. These plans rarely benefit the customer, they are just more money for the company. But all in all, the tires they sold me are really good, and the balance is smooth and straight. I might have paid a little too much and had to put up with too much oversell, but NTB has good products and mechanics. *UPDATE: one month after completing this review, I noticed one of the four tires was put on backwards (the side marked "INSIDE" was facing outward)! Although this seems like an inexcusable error for a tire place, I made an appointment for them to flip the tire. This was completed free of charge with no hassle. And, of course, they also recommended various unrelated additional repair work.

The brand name of the tires that we always get is Michelin and they are usually a little bit more expensive but it is worth it. This company to me offers this brand for the lowest price. They do great work and the wait is not long at all. I would recommend this company to anyone because of the awesome work that they do.
