This is a great deal. I love the family atmosphere at Mr. Cool and the excellent customer service. You do need to make an appointment for each oil change but it is well worth it. You can't beat this value and professionalism. I love to help support local businesses in Knoxville as well, and Mr. Cool has been around a while. I encourage you to buy this special if offered again, and take full advantage.

The work was done within a few days and the transmission worked very well.   They gave a one year warranty on the transmission and their work.
I had given one of my cars to my son so he could drive back to his home in Cincinnati.   When the transmission work on his car was completed I drove it around Knoxville for about a week to make sure that everything worked well and then I drove the car up to Cincinnati to my son's home.
To this day the transmission works just fine and my son has had no problems with it.
We would use Mr. Cool again and recommend them to all of our friends.

I bought an oil package that included four visits.  I have gone twice.  I have been impressed with the service, speed, and the fact that additional services have not been pushed on me, even though I asked them to replace a belt (my car has about 100,000 miles on it).

They were great! We would still be going to them if my son hadn't moved. They went the extra mile for us.

The first time, we were there for the package deal. They said we needed brake work. After the brake work, our rear brakes began squeeking terribly. They also started making a grinding sound, especially on an incline. We had just paid them hundreds of dollars to work on the brakes.
When we took it back in (3 months later) for an oil change, we had them fix the brakes. They did, but it was NOT timely. Our car sat there all day and no one called us. When we called the next day, they said "Oh yeah, it was ready yesterday. Did no one call you?".
We don't feel like their service is worth the drive to West Knoxville for us.

It was a warranty issue and there was no charge.  They are reliable and they keep their word.  They are very nice to deal with.  I heard other customers making very positive remarks when I was sitting there.  Their price is reasonable.

Very friendly and social staff. Made me feel very comfortable. I was called back promptly with a diagnosis and my vehicle was ready for pick up within an hour or so.
It's always challenging to find a service center that you feel you can trust. I have found mine and recommend you give them a try.

Despite the heavy maintenance it went well. They even provided a loaner car.

It went real well. We had to have some other work done as well. The steering pump fluid had to be replaced and the only problem they said they fixed it and I took it there for something and a different guy who was there said you may have a leak on your steering pump because there is fluid on, and I said well but I just fixed that a couple of weeks ago because the fluid gets on there. They said just bring it in and have that cleaned for you and there seemed to be a lack of communication there because they replaced it for me two weeks before and I guess they hadn't cleaned it well and this guy was like look at this. I have not taken it back in yet, but the first time I went in they said all the parts were guaranteed that they would charge me for labor.

Everything went well. They kept us posted and tried to avoid unnecessary costs.

Slow getting started. Found something wrong two other garages could not find.

They charge by the hour which is about $200.00 and then about $50.00-$55.00 for every hour after that. They did really good work. They are very friendly and prompt. They did what they said they were going to do. They even asked me to give them a call back in the end. If I was not happy then I had to give them a call back and they would come back and fix it because sometimes when they do plaster work it may look good at first when it has been painted but later if I see some spots they would come back and fix it. I could not have asked for better service.

My son was visiting for Thanksgiving and his tranny went bad so I gave him one of my cars to drive back to Cincinnati.  The car was repaired at a reasonable price and I drove the car back to Cincinnati and gave it to my son and drove my car home.   Very nice people and great service.

The toilet parts were replaced with parts that I had purchased.  I purchased several sets of replacement rollers of varying sizes,  and unfortunately none of them fit,   neither did either of the two handles that I had purchased.   The handyman did not have any parts for patio doors on his truck.  I find that poor business practice,  when the main item that I stressed with the scheduler was the repair of the patio door.   They should have had parts on their truck.  The handyman called back to his office and had a ten minute discussion with management.  Nothing was resolved.     I dismissed the handyman at exactly 2 hours and did not have the lights installed or any of the other work done.   I am very disappointed in the service provided.  They should come prepared.

Very nice, personable, knowledgeable, and hard-working family-run business. They pointed out problems and cost-effective solutions. They are determined to repair the problem to the customer's satisfaction, and willing to go the extra mile to make it right. I was impressed!
