A friend recommended a gentleman named Taylor Hays with Mortgage Investors Group at their Parkside branch. We had a great conversation where I found out he was a guest relations trainer for Disney World in his early career. It really showed in his work.
I contacted him on a Tuesday morning and by that afternoon, I had received a preliminary worksheet, a copy of my credit report and a prequalification letter. Taylor's rates and closing costs were actually better than Wells and his customer service was beyond compare. I always felt like I was in the know as to the loan progress. Taylor was great at calling and emailing even if there was no activity just to let us know everything was being worked on.
