The supplier was initially contacted for three projects. 1. replace 16 windows in the house. 2. apply energy saving film to the 9 sallarium windows. 3. wrap the sofetts of the house to prevent further bee damage. After receiving an initial estimate of 18,000 dollars I was contacted by the general manager and told the original salesman had been fired. He then reviewed the project. Upon review he talked me out of the sofett wrap. He further said the film would not work on the sallarium windows and quoted me window replacements instead. A price was still 18,000. We finally settled at 16,000. The job was started and the installers were efficient, polite and professional. They only installed the 16 regular windows. Upon completion of that initial work I was asked to sign a completion of work statement which I signed but inserted a statement that the sallarium work was not done yet. I was told by the installers they needed that in order to get paid. Later I was told that the sallarium windows could never be replaced without leaking and the sales person tried to get me to agree to the film he had originally talked me out of.
During all of this I was contacted by a lending company called green sky about a loan agreement. I had never applied to them it was done through MADARIS!!! I was told the entire sum of 16,000 had been paid to MADARIS as they had been presented a job completion statement eventhough it clearly showed the sallarium was undone . It was never indicated to me that I would actually be activating a loan as I had indicated I would be paying cash for the entire project. After a great deal of haggling and personal heartburn I was given back 3,500 dollars and the sallarium was left undone.
Having said all this these are my opinions and warnings.
1.Beware overbearing pushy sales personel.
2.Beware bait and switch project practices.
3.Beware unscrupulous finance practices.
4.BEWARE MADARIS SIDING and WINDOWS

They got it done in a matter of days. They worked in the cold to do it in the snow, cleaned up the property well and they are really professional to me. Their price was expensive.
