The remediation company called Knoxville Plumbing late yesterday afternoon. Today, at 11:10 a.m., I received a text with the picture and name of the technician from Knoxville Plumbing who was coming. Pickett arrived in half an hour and put on shoe covers to not track dirt into the house. He went right to work and put in a new PEX pipe joint and fixture in an hour. Good as new!

I highly recommend Knoxville Plumbing. They have been nothing but professional, punctual, honest and courteous on the several occasions I've had the pleasure of working with them. They utilize up front pricing on jobs, and I prefer that. They call/text ahead so you know exactly when to expect them. The work was solid and the kept the mess to a minimum. Excellent experience! And we love our new water softener!!

Hayden did a wonderful job. They were extremely punctual, professional and my tenants that they served were blown away by the new toilet flush power when the job was complete. I highly recommend Knoxville Plumbing to anyone in need!

Given the circumstances and weather, very well. Restoration of water service was given the first priority and a temporary line was installed immediately. This was initiated on a Saturday with no additional charge for work being done on Saturday. Rick also rebuilt my meter box, replacing box and lid and worked on landscaping finished work. Cost was approximately $3700. Interest free two year financing was provided and taken.

Rick P showed up on time & quickly diagnosed the problem. After a quick trip to the shop to get a part, he was back & completed the repairs. He was very professional but also very friendly/down to earth. I stayed with him as he completed to repairs & we talked about our families, dogs & hometowns. Rick P is a great guy & very knowledgable. I will recommend Knoxville Plumbing (& Rick P) to anyone who is looking for an honest, competent plumbing company. Top notch group of people.

The initial estimate was $1800-2000 from another plumbing company but when the cabinetry arrived and installation was scheduled, that plumbing company had gotten backed up by two weeks. Knoxville Plumbing was available the very next day but after arriving notified my wife that it would cost $6800 to complete the work that took two men two half-days but they reduced it to $6300 when we complained. The installation was done well but we felt taken advantage of in terms of price since they knew we had no other options given the timing of the installation of the cabinetry. Both my contractor and a friend who is a retired plumbing company owner were shocked at the price when they saw the scope of the work. Knoxville Plumbing also quoted $500 to make a temporary connection from the dishwasher to the sink drain and $600 to connect the sink plumbing after the kitchen counters were installed but we declined to have them back. It was our mistake to not get a firm estimate before scheduling them (or to check their reviews on Angie's List!)- be careful to do so and get a firm quote if you use them.

It was a lot more than I expected. They were expensive. I would probably go with someone cheaper. The cost was wrong and I was kind of upset with that.

Spoke with Brittany at Knoxville Plumbing about our water heater leaking. It was at the end of the day when I discovered the leak, and I thought they would not be able to send someone until the next day. I was happy to be informed by Brittany that they are available 24 hours and they could have a plumber at my house later in the evening. Brittany called and said Brandon was on his way. Brandon was polite, professional, and completed the repair. I was very happy with Knoxville Plumbing prompt and professional service!

Ok. They charged us 960.00 for 1.5 hours of work on a Saturday morning. I wish I made that kind of money. Oh, and the guy forgot to reattach the dishwasher drain line to garbage disposal, yep, water freaking everywhere. I called, he said "oops, can you just reattach it? I must have forgotten to do that." I'll never use them again.

My mom is 80 years old, and they told her that they needed to replace the floater and other stuff in the tank.  They said that the price was $50 or the parts ($10 at depot).  They did not replace the first day, but had a second person come the next and tell her that she refused to have the $50 parts installed which was not true, she never said that.  Then they installed the $10 parts and charged her $300.  You can buy a new toilet and have installed for that.  These folks are a rip off and lie.  Stay clear of them!

Very professional and helpful. I just had Knoxville Plumbing replace an old 50 gallon tank hot water heater with a new tankless heater. I wanted it relocated to a different wall in the basement and the plumbing and natural gas lines needed to be relocated to accommodate the new location. Josh and Rafael were timely, courteous, professional, and helpful with all the questions I had. The installation was very clean and they made sure I understood how to operate the new unit before leaving. Josh also returned the following day for the county inspector to approve the work and address any outstanding issues. The final price was exactly what was originally quoted, no surprise or hidden fees. They did not ask for any money up front and did not bill for the job until the inspection was complete. Exactly what you would expect from a professional company and not some fly-by-night operation.
Thank You Knoxville Plumbing!

Not good. I had to hire another plumber to put
in a Delta kitchen faucet. Parts and labor $180.
Better to replace entire unit. Not honest.

Let me state in the beginning that this company's repairman who performed the work on this particular job (July) did a good job. My first experience with their repairmen was not so good. And my encounter with an office worker wasn't any better.
The company was given a second chance on this job because my contractor ask that I reconsider my preference of not using them. In January they melted the siding on the back of my house. The second plumbing job (July) was completed to specifications. What I am not impressed with is the fact that I was ask to give this company a second chance and their office staff added insult to injury, so to speak. They did not send me a bill...my contractor sent me a copy of a bill but Knoxville Plumbing did not bill me. They contact me (a month(s) later) informing me that I have a past due bill...remember they haven't sent me a bill...and the young lady calling immediately tells me that I have a past due bill and she is calling to collect credit card information to pay this bill. There was no asking did I receive a bill-have you already mailed a check-would I like to use a credit card...I don't know about anyone else, but from what I've seen in the business world it isn't good business form to call a customer and tell them how they are going to pay a bill. The strong arm tactics are not going to work. This was just the last straw.
A representative from this company did return my call when I ask. After working for me once already...hmmm.... the stance was that they had my email address wrong. They had my phone number, my physical address, what more did they need to contact me or to send me a statement?
I found that sometimes second chances do not benefit the giver. If you choose to use this company I hope you have better luck than I have had with them. My experience can be calculated as 2 out of 3 experiences being troublesome/bad.

Because of the design of my laundry room, it is impossible to completely pull my washing machine away from the wall because there is a sink in front of it. Eric was able to get behind the washer and work in a tiny space. He not only cleared the clog, went even farther down the drain and found a few other hard spots and cleared them as well. When he got the pipes put back together, he stayed while I ran a cycle through my washing machine to be sure it drained well. He and his assistant, David, were on time, professional and friendly. I rated the Responsiveness a B because I scheduled 3 different appt dates through Angie's List a few weeks ago as well as sending a follow up message and received no response. Eric said he would be sure to mention that to the people in the office. I finally was able to contact Knoxville Plumbing through their own website but only received a call 2 days later when Eric was on his way.
Before any work was started, Eric looked at the work to be done and gave me a written estimate. I would definitely call Knoxville Plumbing again, if needed.

My son accidentally clogged a toilet by flushing diaper wipes. We tried everything to unclog it and finally realized we needed a plumber. It was a Saturday and a plumber is hard to find. With Knoxville Plumbing we had a plumber and they did not charge us extra for coming on a Saturday. They came within an hour of our call and not only did he unclog the toilet he inspected all of the pipes for leaks underneath the house and did not charge any extra. They count on repeat business and you using them for all of your plumbing needs and seem to have no need to gouge you for the service. Great job and very professional!
