We used Kelly as the realtor on our first home purchase and we could not have been happier. He was attentive and prompt when we wanted to see a house, and offered indispensable feedback throughout the entire process from the early stages of touring homes until closing. He did a great job of asking questions and listening about what we were looking for and was never pushy about showing us a house that didn't fit our (admittedly elaborate and specific) criteria. He was patient with us in our search, and helped us find a house that we love at a good value. He also provided referrals for the home and termite inspections we were happy with as well.

Kelly Clevenger is a top notch real estate agent and he did an incredible job of keeping me informed every step of the way and helping me to navigate all of the potential issues during the process. He was always available to answer any questions I had, or to take any actions on my behalf in my absence. Even after I had moved to another state to start a new job, the process was hardly affected because he made sure I had all of the necessary information I needed and worked with me to schedule any necessary tasks that needed to be completed. Kelly and I met after we had a horrible experience with another realtor while we were trying to sell our property in another state. Kelly showed compassion and truly cared about our situation. He and his partner checked our home monthly (which was vacant and a hugh concern for us). We went through 3 other realtors before we met Kelly. He is the only one who did what he said he would do. He had professional photos done to advertise our property online. He advised us appropriately on selling our property. He was always available to answer our questions and was always professional, yet very caring. We were truly blessed to have him see us through the process of selling of our property.

Kelly did a terrific job, once again! We have used Kelly's services for 2 other homes- one sold and one bought- and he has come through with flying colors every time. This home was only on the market 45 days before we got an offer and it closed (with Kelly's help) less than 45 days after the offer was received. Kelly and his photographer really showcased the unique aspects of our home and its location and the photos and description helped to generate a lot of interest. We highly recommend Kelly to everyone we know who needs a real estate agent! He is professional and cares about helping you get what you need done.

Getting the house ready for sale was easy. We called the various people Kelly recommended and they were also excellent at their jobs.
Since we live out of town, we were concerned that selling long distance would be difficult. Kelly took care of all the details for us.

Everything went great and within 6 weeks of our relocation we closed on our home. The day the house went on the MLS we called Kelly and told him we wanted to see it that same day. Kelly made the necessary arrangements and got us in that afternoon. Kelly rearranged his schedule within minutes of our call. That is the kind of person I like working with, someone who is responsive to our needs.
Kelly is from Knoxville and is a great resource for someone like me who was not familiar with the area.
I highly recommend Kelly and would call him in the future if ever we have need of a good realtor.
By the way, the house we purchased was a for sale by owner and the seller and Kelly agreed on a price for his services. That is the reason for the lower commission.

This purchase went amazingly well! We could not have gotten the property without Kelly's help. He helped us submit a fair price that was accepted by the seller and then helped us with getting it closed. He always answered our calls, texts, and emails promptly and if he didn't have an answer he found it. He is truly a professional all the way and we would definitely use him again as well as recommending him highly to anyone who wants a fantastic realtor. We really enjoyed working with Kelly. He was quick to reply and set up showings on requested proprieties. I was living in another state at the time, so someone who was very good with email communication was necessary. Kelly delivered on that. We saw a marathon 30 properties over a weekend and then went back for second showings the weekend after that. He was very patient through three offers we made and with a seller's agent who was incredibly rude. He kept his cool and did a great job for us.

Kelly came and met with us and was very thorough in going thru the house and making measurements and going over all the details. He presented us with the information we needed to get our house on the market and get it under contract.
We already had pictures we had taken of the house for marketing, but Kelly had a pro come in and do wide angle pictures that showed off the rooms to better advantage.
Kelly did an open house and got us listed in the homes catalog. We had the house under contract within a month after listing with Kelly.
When we ran into delays that were difficult to manage, Kelly and his team were very aggressive in helping take care of matters quickly and resolving the issues so the sale would still go through.
He called, emailed and texted and kept us informed of the progress on the closing every step of the way.
Kelly was never to busy to answer our questions- of which there were many!
We will definitely call Kelly again to buy or sell a home- he was a man of his word and really helped us through a very difficult sale and brought things to a successful end.

We found Kelly in Angies List and another review sites. Upon meeting him, we felt really at ease with his company and at the same time he offered professional and objective advice.
He was very patient with our house search. We had a tight time line to find a house and Kelly made looking at 60+ houses in 3 1/2 days possible, easy and fun. We started out interviewing different realitors, and Kelly was at the top of our list after interviewing several others. Not only in responsiveness, but doing his homework even before we picked him. That was why we did pick him. Although we gave him an A overall, if there was another higher level, we would have rated him there, because not only did he go above the others before we chose, after we chose Kelly, he continued to communicate always in all areas. Not only were there good communications, but the communications were clear, to the point, on time, which is what a realitor should be. He worked for us throughout the time we enlisted him. Rather than saying the same praise for Kelly over and over, because he deserves that recognition for being more than what is expected, I will only reiterate, that if you need the best person to represent your property, be it selling, or buying Kelly will deliver and more. I found him on Angie's List and he was fine. We are very happy with him. He put my house up for sale and he had a contract on it in two days. He did pretty good. I have not had any problems yet and everything was great.

Kelly stays on top of everything during the home purchase transaction. He is very knowledgeable about the homes sales industry and has a lot of experience. He stays with the home buyer during the home inspection to help them with the process, which is something I don't see many other Realtor's doing. He is very responsive to calls from his clients. I would highly recommend Kelly for anyone purchasing or selling a home in the Knoxville area!

After many hours of searching through listings online and driving through many neighborhoods, we found a place we knew we'd love. I'm pretty much a do-it-yourselfer when it comes to shopping for a home... but when it comes time to make an offer and see the process through to the end, I want a capable professional on my side of the table. Kelly was exactly that and did a great job for us... with the bonus that he's such a nice guy.
We contacted Kelly via Angle's List and he got back with us right away and set up an appointment for us to come by the office soon after. By the time we got there, he had already pulled comparables in the area and had done his homework on the house we wanted. Impressive.
On a side note, we went with Kelly's recommendation of Peter Waraska (Pillar to Post) for the home inspection and it was a great call. Talk about thorough - wow.
Over the next couple of weeks he worked with us through several offer/counter offer cycles and was very patient with us as well as all the odd requests from our lender. At one point he even interrupted his time at a UT football game to speak with the seller's agent about our offer - who does THAT in Knoxville? :)

I would recommend Kelly to anyone looking for real estate in this area. We found Kelly through Angie's list, and contacted him by email from out of state. We had a pretty good idea of what we were looking for, and Kelly sent us listings that were pertinent via email. That gave us the opportunity to screen viewings before arriving in town. We were able to find a house we loved in a couple of days with Kelly's help.
Kelly kept us updated on the progress of the purchase when we were out of town. He was always prompt, responsive and helpful. One instance I want to mention involves a huge pile of trash the previous owners left in front of our house. They had promised it would be picked up by the next morning - but it was still there. I called Kelly and he made arrangements for the trash to be picked up almost immediately, and he came over in person to make sure it got done.

We put our house on the market on July 12. Through Kelly's hard work and diligence we had a contract within a week and a half. From the time that. From the time that we put the house on the market to the time it closed was 46 days. The average time for a house sale in Knoxville is six months. And we sold a house at the tail end of July when houses do not normally sell very well. I would recommend Kelly without reservation. He was extraordinarily professional, very cordial, and was always available to give us advice on how to sell the house and what to do to fix it up.
