+ -1 moreDavid was working next door, and I mentioned that I had a list of handyman repairs to be done and would he be interested. I asked if he charged by the hour or by the job; he said it depends. I gave him a list of what I needed. That has been 6-8 weeks ago and I never heard from him. A professional would acknowledge receipt and give an idea of when he could start and how he would price out the job, then keep a person in the loop if everything else is in agreement. He's nice to speak to but does not come through.
