Brien Owens came out within a few days of my phone call and said they could do the job, but it would be a few weeks as the glass would be a special order. They were here in 3 weeks with the new double pane replacement. Dustin and Ted were very professional and courteous and despite some difficulties removing the old glass (problematic screws), got the job done.

I called for an estimate in the later afternoon. The person I spoke with gave me an estimate of $165 for drop off service to replace the glass in the lower pane of my double-hung window. I was also given advice on how to remove the lower half of the window. The next morning, I dropped off the window around 8AM. By 12:30PM I had received a call saying the window had been repaired and was ready for pickup. The window was good as new, and I was very satisfied with the service provided. I would recommend Inst-I-Glass of Knoxville and will use them again if the need arises.

I was very pleased with the guy. The cost was not real expensive; it seemed reasonable. He had a truck. It was a big truck with a door in it. He took the old window frame out. Then, he took it in to his truck and made the new window and put it in in his truck. He just brought it back in the house and put it in. I was amazed that he was able to do all of it on the spot instantly. It really is insta-glass and then, just put it back in. Then, it was all done.

We'd lived with the cloudy glass for a few years because I couldn't track down manufacturer - and was too lazy to contact a contractor just to come in and replace the glass.  I was expecting a major production but was pleasantly surprised.  They popped out the old section of glass and created an exact duplicate within an hour or so.  I really like the 10 year warranty on the glass seal.  
The installer was personable and polite.

Everything went very well, and we'd highly recommend them. Their price was approximately fifty dollars cheaper than the next estimate, scheduling and communicating with the company was easy, and they did a great job with the repairs.

This was a very difficult job that required true professionals only.
All the interior and exterior wood window trim had to be pulled off with no breaking.
The work took about 2 hours because of all the complexities.
The finished job wa most professional with only one very small crack on one of the wood trim pieces.

It went very well. They gave me a quote over the phone based on window dimensions, showed up on day (and hour) they told me they would and replaced it quickly. The two employees they sent were very nice and pleasant, good people persons. Once I decided to go with them, my appointment was for 5 days later. This was much better than other places, which had told me they'd take up to 2 weeks to order the glass after they came to my house to measure.

We had an attic window crack in the course of a large remodeling job. After looking on Angie's List, I called Instiglass and spoke with Brien. He came by my house that day. He told me how much it would be, and since the window was out of the house, he was able to take it with him. The next day, another employee called and came by with the fixed window. It looked great! It was a fantastic experience. We would use them again.

They did a good job. It was very quick and prompt. They had a great response and quick turn around.

Brian was out the next day after a terribly night of storms and tornadoes. There was extensive damage throughout the city and golf ball sized hail had destroyed many home and vehicle windows. Every single basement window of my parents had been broken out and jagged glass was all that was left. Brian arrived the day after the storm, removed the jagged and broken glass and took measurements. The windows were ready and installed the next day. I know he worked many long hours during the aftermath of the strom and we really appreciated the prompt service and great results.
