They were great, they went in great detail on what I need to do when I buy the house. Told me everything that needed to be done to the house and the items to watch for in the future. The thing I liked is the explained what was going on vs just sending me a long report.

The inspector was very thorough and included pictures of what he found. I loved that! I could see what he found too. The home is a ways away from his place of business but he was able to come out and inspect the home in a very short time. In would recommend him to others or would use again if I ever move.

Joshua did my inspection today and he was very professional and personable. His expertise was evident in all our conversations. He explained everything to me very honestly and in a way I could understand. He was also very patient, because I know my many questions during the inspection must have interrupted his work. I would trust him to do future inspections and I recommend him without reservations.

Poor experience. Time was changed on inspection and we were not able to be there to participate in the process. Inspection of a 4300 sq. ft. home took them less than an hour and a half? Very general information given. Some items we noticed on our own that were in disrepair and not just aesthetic were left off of the report or unnoticed. Fee was $565 for an hour and half? Raining so hard I don't know how they could have even done a proper roof or outdoor inspection, which is probably why they didn't catch the rotting wood under the deck. Roof inspection was done via binoculars. Thorough is more important than fast on a $440K purchase. If I did purchase this home, I wouldn't feel comfortable doing it on this inspection. Would never use again.

I would have loved to address these concerns with you personally, but you did not show up to the inspection. So please allow me to explain: 1. I called and asked if I could go early was not told no. I was there when your husband was there and answered all his questions and would have been there when you were supposed to arrive to answer all your questions. But you did not arrive. 2. The inspection took over 2 hours. I checked when I opened the lock on the door and when I sent you the report and when we were in the driveway answering your husbands questions about the HVAC. As well, it was faster than usual still because 2 people were inspecting the home and it was a 3 year old home in great condition that was unoccupied. 3. The home was in great condition and there was not much to report so it was a more informative report. As for the rotten boards on the deck, that is false. They were green from moss because of the water that runs between the boards and is in the shaded area below the deck. You noted there were items in despair that we did not catch and that is not true. My guess is you are referring to what you think is deck rot as noted above. 4. It was raining and the roof pitch was very steep. I would not have sent an inspector to climb such a steep roof even if it was dry out. So we inspected it from the ground which is allowed by Tennessee State Law for safety reasons. 5. The price you are quoting also included a termite letter and is higher than the actual price of the home inspection. 6. Regardless of the price of your home, a thorough inspection is important and I agree with you there. Our inspection was very thorough and I am sorry you felt like it wasn't. The home you were looking at was almost brand so your inspection report didn't have many defects noted because there weren't any. Again, thank you for your review. Jason was very professional. He was early and already hard at work when I arrived. He explained all of his findings and showed me pictures of all this items in question. He then answered all my questions. The report was available and sent to me within a few hours. I would definitely use Home Inspection Headquarters again and recommend them to all my friends.

The inspector was excellent. He thoroughly reviewed the rental home we were buying. This included reviewing the roof, electrical and plumbing systems, structure and foundation, everything which pertained to the house. His report was easy to understand and included everything which did not need repair or needed repair. This review helped us make the decision what and how to negotiate with the seller. Justin was knowledgable, thorough, helpful, and professional. He even came back at a different time to inspect the plumbing system as the owner had failed to have water turned on for the home inspection. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a home inspection.

He was very through but didn't include unnecessary info that may typically be overwhelming to someone going through the process of purchasing their home. He was available to answer any questions we had with very quick responses and is very easy to talk with. Jason did very thorough, detailed inspection of our new home. We received a comprehensive report with multiple pictures which were quite helpful in gaining a clearer understanding of a some of the issues that needed to be addressed. Additionally, Jason is very friendly and personable, and went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of, even in the weeks after the inspection was completed.
