HOME ASSURANCE

I've used Home Assurance for home inspections twice. I was present at both inspections and appreciate that he took the time to explain everything to me, answer my questions, and provide advice for any issues that come up. My sister recently had another inspector at her house who didn't understand older houses have different codes and requirements. I told her to contact Home Assurance since they were able to talk to me about the differences in current code and what's actually required for my older home. I've had professionals out to work on issues Home Assurance identified, and their review/work lined up with what Home Assurance said in the inspection report. He was always on time, the reports are nice and easy to read, and he has a great turnaround time in producing the reports.

Tami called and scheduled our home inspection as we were on a tight schedule for closing and Robert was at the site half an hour before scheduled start time. Robert is very knowledgeable and gave us great details. He even gave us an option as the home we were set to purchase had major structural issues and he said he would complete the report just with that knowledge and save us some cost. We asked him to complete the inspection so that anyone else interested in the house would know about it walking in as we decided it was more than we wanted to tackle. Robert completed his report and sent it to us by the next morning so we could move on quickly. I have even scheduled Home Assurance for another inspection! Super to work with!

The service provided by Robert and Tami cannot be beat. Robert is completely through and takes great pride in the service he provides to his clients. I have used him multiple times and he will be my ONLY home inspector. He gets into every area of the home and finds the small items that could lead to big problems down the road. He actually came out to the house and since the builder was not complete rescheduled the service so that we didn't have to have an additional inspection after all the construction was done.

After the inspection is done, Robert walks you through each of the items found in the house and takes the time to explain why it is a problem and how it should be resolved. Also you get a detailed report with pictures to hand over to the seller so that they can resolve the problems. You also get a book about things you should do to maintain the house.

My experience was beyond my expectations. Mr Allen was prompt, kept to his estimate and cleaned up as he worked. Each day when he went home he took all his equipment with him and the area he was working on was left neat and clean. He did everything that he said he would and more. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for an honest man who does quality work at what I consider to be a very reasonable price. The ceilings in my great room and entry are 19 feet high. He had the equipment to perform the job and is very thorough. He and his wife Tami are certified inspectors and are fully insured. Knowing what a great job I received in staining and painting I will keep his card on file for any future home inspections I might need!
