I know this review is old, but I was looking at past work done on the house and wanted to express how pleased we were with this company. We purchased our house in Dec 2009. At that time the downstairs unit did not pass inspection, so the previous owner replaced it using General Air Service. Over the next 3 years, we had to call them out several times for either heating or cooling issues. It was eventually determined that the downstairs unit was defective and it was replaced under warranty. Shortly after that, the aging unit upstairs began giving us trouble and General Air came out repaired and eventually replaced it in December 2012.
Over that 3 year span, we must have had them out at least a half dozen times. Keith made just about every service call and it became a running joke that I just had to see him every few months. Each time, he diagnosed the problem and had it fixed promptly. We were very pleased with this company and would not hesitate to use them again. Although I REALLY don't want to have to see them any time soon (miss you Keith)!

General Air Service installed the Heat and Air for the home we bought in 1998 so I used them for mainteance on those units which by the way are still operating. My daughters house had an old heat pump under a home warranty. While the home warranty folks kept fixing it after the third outage I decide to replace it since the warranty company was never going to. I called General Air on Tuesday -- the owner came to the property to determine what we needed that day and surveyed a room that was hard to cool. He immediately recognized that it needed a larger vent and duct work. I knew how much the heat pump would cost since its a split system so the price quote they gave me was fair. After accpeting their estimate they were over the next day installing the unit which has ten year warranty. The work was prompt and professional. No surprises. They stuck to their quote. Now three days later the house is finally cool including the room that was perpetually hot. These are down to earth, great people. I have no relationship or business interest with any of them. But I highly reommend them. I suspect most of their business is by word of mouth. A lot of builders apparently use them.

We have several years experience with Gen Air. We have recommended them to all friends. They consistently give great service. They do not go to the most expensive repair or replacement option like so many companies in this field tend to do.

Keith actually arrived 30 minutes EARLY. He was super friendly and accommodating (waiting outside while I put the dogs up, and moving his van when my husband had to go to work). He didn't stop his work for a second while continuing to chat with me, and fully explained the condition of our fan unit. He gave us hints on what to look for in the future, in terms of damage to the unit, and things we can do to protect it. He discovered that a small but integral part of the unit went bad and would we like to replace it. He had the part on-hand and had it in the unit in about ten minutes. He stayed extra time to make sure it was up to par (we talked about filters in the registers and how they impact my air flow). The visit base-price was more than I was expecting ($90 vs $75) but that was just an estimate I came up with, not something they quoted to me. I really expected the visit would cost more like $200-300, so I feel like I got away with a steal. I am super happy with the way this went down, and I WILL be calling for Keith again in the future, if something else A/C goes wrong.

"We greatly appreciate this and all reviews. While I am happy that the customer was pleased with our service, our technician, and the total cost of the repair, I am sorry to see that we were less than perfect in her review. I would be happy to discuss her concerns to see if we can do anything any better. I have tried to contact the customer, but so far have not been able to reach her."
