Freddy Smith

Freddy Smith is simply by and far the best handyman I've had the pleasure of doing business with.  When I lived in West Knoxville for the last 25 years, he took care of every aspect of maintaining and remodeling my house.  He did it all, and when he needed help, everyone he brought into our home were excellent and trustworthy.  Unlike contractors, he does as much of the work as he can himself, which saves his customers a lot over hiring licensed contractors who then hire subcontractors -- a costly process, and you often don't know the quality of the subcontractors.  With Freddy, you get top quality work at reasonable and affordable prices.
Aside from being a grade A handyman who charges way less than licensed contractors, he stands out as someone who will come back and address any reasonable concern once the project is done.  One can expect unanticipated problems, but Freddy always made sure I was satisfied with the end product.  
I recently moved to Asheville, and Freddy has favored me by traveling here to help with projects while I find a new handyman.  I don't think I'll find another Freddy, but I did want to let Knoxville members of Angie's List know about an unsung gem.  Speaking of which, yes, he is the early morning DJ on WDVX!
