Vendor was very courteous and polite. Was able to give an estimate over the phone with great certainty based on feedback from my wife. Price was the most competitve although others agreed to drop their pricing when we declined service. I went with the vendor that quoted me right the first time and didn't try to lure me with a 5 year warranty that basically doubled Farragut Plumbings quote. I won't call out the other plumber but that's not a warrantly. That's prepaying for the service again. Appointment was scheduled and job was completed in a timely manner. Very nice folks to work with and would highly recommend.

I had an upstairs tub leaking through the ceiling into the kitchen. Farragut Plumbing was able to come that afternoon when three other companies didn't have any openings until the following afternoon. He very quickly found the problem of a loose drain plug and lack of putty around the seal. He fixed it in less than 10 minutes, told me he would call back the next morning to make sure it had worked, then said he would send me a bill. What he did fixed the problem and we had no future problems.

We discovered that we had a water-line leak somewhere between street and house. We called Farragut plumbing - they responded very quickly (same day). Water line from house to street was over 500 feet. They used a backhoe to attempt to locate the water line near the house - dug several large trenches. Could not locate the line. The crew came and went as they needed to get supplies and handle other jobs. Generally the attitude was unprofessional and unhelpful. After several hours of work, we asked for an estimate of what the cost was up to at this point. We were told 'around $800 by now'. We asked them to stop searching for existing water line and to give us an estimate to replace entire line with new pipe. They estimated over $7,000 to replace the line (in addition to the cost of attempting to find existing water line). I told them to stop work as I got estimates from other plumbing companies to replace line. Two other companies estimated $4,200 to replace line, and were much more professional and communicative in their interaction with us. We decided to use one of the other plumbing companies to replace the line. Farragut then billed us $1,354 for their unsuccessful effort to find the water line (over $500 more than we expected from their verbal estimate). In general, we found Farragut plumbing to be much more expensive, less professional and competent than the other company that eventually replaced the line. We've used Farragut plumbing in the past on small jobs with good results, but we won't be using them again.

Farragut Plumbing showed up on time. I explained what repairs were needed and told the employee I would like an estimate before he began working. This seemed to surprise and agitate him, and he got defensive. I explained I like to know what I am paying for prior to having any services done. I asked questions like, "How much is labor per hour?" He could not quote this to me and seemed flustered. He did call in the services I was asking to have done, and he gave me a price that was well over $700 but could not give a breakdown of the price. At this point, I should have said, "No thank you," but my husband and I were in a pinch, as these were the last few things we needed done before we sold our condo. I decided to go ahead and have him repair what we needed. Our sink was a Kohler, and Farragut Pluming doesn't keep Kohler parts on their trucks. He needed to get a part on Northshore Dr. (about 15 minutes from our condo). After being gone for a full hour, he called and said they didn't have the part, and he would need to go to a store downtown. I told him to come on back and decided we would have someone else fix the kitchen faucet. He was gone for a full hour and a half before returning. After he returned, I had him speak with my husband. As they were speaking about costs, services, etc., he was also extremely rude and unprofessional with him. I finally had him fix the outside faucet only, and the cost was significantly less (thankfully) than I was originally quoted, despite the length of time the job took. My plans were, if this job went well, to book Farragut Plumbing for a few jobs at our new home. There is no chance I will use this company again. Overall, I felt uncomfortable with the whole situation. We had several other repairmen/handymen in our condo in the weeks leading up to this, and I had been impressed with the level of professionalism and expertise of each of them. Sadly, this was not the case with Farragut Plumbing.

I called the morning of service and was told I could secure appointment that day. I rec'd call stating he was on his way. The time was within their four hour window. The employee cleared the toilet and then asked if he could check anything else since I was charged for the hour service call (he was done in 5 minutes time with the toilet). I then asked about the dishwasher (leaks, motor making noise). He informed me he could only work on the plumbing aspect (not the actual motor) and stated both lines were intact. He then went above and beyond by providing the name of their supply company to get a second opinion (already had 2 other companies come out to tell me just to buy a new dishwasher). He said that their supply company will give me an honest opinion. I really enjoyed the honesty and the quality of work performed!

Their office is located close by, and they had a favorable approval rating online. I chose them because of that. They showed up when they said they would, and they made the repair satisfactorily within a reasonable amount of time. Overall, they did a perfect job. In comparison to the other providers that I called, their hourly rate seemed reasonable. Their pricing wasn’t great, but it was fair.

Usual story...call about a problem and when the repair tech arrives, the problem isn't showing up. Kind of like taking a car into the shop but when you get there, it isn't making the same sounds! Anyway, the service tech inspected the area and went ahead and replaced the vent. He also found a water supply line that was loose and tightened it. I also had him repair a couple of other sinks.

The leak was rather bad and was causing damage downstairs before we discovered it. Every time we turned on the shower the water was backing up in the tub, as it was old. It was spewing out in the wrong places and finally started leaking downstairs. The plumber discovered the problem immediately and fixed it. It was an emergency situation and we were grateful that they could come on the same day. We were pleased with the work done. The plumber was able to identify the problem and fix it pretty quickly. He was very professional as well.

Even though I had a small job, I was given good treatment and not made to feel that my need was less important than any other job that they might have pending.

Farragut plumbing returned our call on a Sunday and set up a morning appt for Monday, the very next day. He was courteous and professional and explained everything that he was doing. He replaced the spigot and corrected the problem quickly and was done by 10:30 am. Locally owned company with great service, we will definitely be calling them again.

The young man, John, came and immediately knew what to do. He was clean and personable and completed the job by installing the faucet and soldering all joints as needed, cleaned up his mess and left. I was pleased at how well it was all done.

The entire process was handled very well. The initial call was answered quickly and the tech arrived at the scheduled time. The service tech was very professional and explained exactly what he was doing. Both of the tasks were completed in approximately 1 hour including a thorough clean-up of the work areas.

The service was excellent, from the beginning with the customer service person in their office, to the tech, to the plumber. I had run out of checks unfortunately and didn't have enough cash on me to pay the plumber but he allowed me to visit the office and pay there. I did just that and the whole problem of leaky faucet and wasting water was taken care of in 24 hours. PHOTO uploaded is the faucet before cleaning and repairs. Today, it is clean and in working order.

Excellent service provider. Tech arrived at site about 15 MINUTES (!) after initial phone call. Unbelievable! Tech was very professional and personable. He performed the work expertly and quickly in unbearable heat (about 100 degrees with high humidity). The defective faucet was replaced with a much better quality freeze-protected unit. I would certainly use Farragut Plumbing again if needed.

Farragut did fix the leaky faucet for me just like I knew that they would. I have used them before and anything I have ever needed done, they were always able to do. I am very happy with them. They are very professional and very reasonably priced as well. I will keep using them for many years to come, unless of course I should move away.

Our outside faucet had been seriously leaking and needed replacement. We've used Farragut several times over the last few years and they've always done a good job for us. It took about two hours to complete this task.

Nothing is worse the water all over the bathroom. It gets under the floor, and does a great deal of damage. We have been calling Ferragut for thirty years, and they have always solved the problem. The plumber arrived two days after we first contacted them, and affected repairs in one hour. He then cleaned the bathroom up, and gave us advice on how to dry the water under the floor. It was yet another example of excellent plumbing service.

I thought he did a good job and the price was right considering he had to do some digging to get at the drain's pipe. It took him about two hours in all and he got it working fine and didn t leave me any mess to clean up. I was happy with the way the job turned out.
