I would never use them again. The work was good and his crew of workers is absolutely brilliant. However, he is not a trustworthy contractor. My husband and I are both familiar with construction so the owner of this company did things he probably would have gotten away with and nobody would have raised an eyebrow. For example, he had his crew put soffits up before they replaced the roof, which left the edges of our roof exposed. Then we had 6 days of rain which damaged my kitchen ceiling; we had water literally running down the inside of the wall by our main power box. The crew told me that they told him not to do it this way but he said to do it anyway. I would not recommend him if he was the last contractor on the planet. His price was a little higher than some of the other people we looked at. In the middle of the work his crew quit because he had not paid them; and we already had paid him in full. His crew was speedier than most but the contractor did some shady things like using some used materials on the job when we had paid to use new materials. He was not always responsive returning our telephone inquiries. His punctuality was pretty good but he left his crew sitting around idle sometimes because they had no materials to work with.  

We coordinated the quotation and the work with State Farm. I talked to Eric and Justin several times along with the insurance company. It is my belief that having confidence in a contractor before they begin work is essential. I cannot image just going to the yellow pages to find a contractor - or even worse, using a contractor from out of town. Eric and Justin did exactly as they told me from the beginning. Eric checked with me during the roof replacement to make sure that I was satisfied with their work and afterwards to make sure that the completion/cleanup was satisfactory. Integrity is committing to do the job right and then doing what you say - they did that. I highly recommend them.
