It went just OK. No out of the way actions to make sure we got the most out of what we were doing. Found out later, from someone else, we could have used much better products, longer lasting, on our home , for not much more. He did a ok job for what he was putting on, but could have been better for the finishing.

After getting three estimates and interviewing three contractors, I hired Mr. Daugherty's company. His estimate was not the lowest, but I felt he would do the best job. I was definitely not disappointed. His team consisted of himself and two others and they did the majority of the work themselves without bringing in subcontractors other than electricians, a company who did the vinyl and hardwood, and the company who did the kitchen and bathroom counter tops. In the beginning the house was empty but due to time constraints I had to move in before the remodel was complete. Mr. Daugherty worked with me to be sure I could move in (working kitchen and one bathroom complete, flooring and painting done) and continued his work. I felt completely comfortable giving him a key and letting him come and go as required without my being at the house even after I moved in. All work was completed to my satisfaction. Mr. Daugherty and his crew were totally professional, very conscientious about the quality of their work, very easy to work with, and always very pleasant. What I liked the most was that there were not a lot of subcontractors involved and that he was familiar with the ones he did use and the quality of their work.
