Cronan Custom Homes Inc

Contracted with Cronan Custom Homes to build a single-family house.  House was supposed to be completed in Oct 2011.  House was completed over one year later in Dec 2012.  In addition to this greater-than-one-year delay, there were, in the opinions of two different home inspectors, myriad construction quality related issues that ultimately led us to file a lawsuit against this contractor, and to petition the State of Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance Board for Licensing Contractors to have this contractor's license suspended (complaint # 201300715).  The contractor settled the lawsuit out of court rather than risking the full financial impact of judgment.
This contractor also failed to perform on another home-repair-related contract.  This contractor did not satisfactorily complete hail damage repair work on our home and performed work that was not agreed in the written contract.  Information regarding this failure to perform was also provided to  State of Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance Board for Licensing Contractors in a second petition to have this contractor's license suspended (complaint # 201300716).
