This really is a very good company. Their prices are very reasonable, they are punctual and responsive. They just know what they're doing! And John, who serviced our furnace is great. He's a good guy who knows what he's doing. If we need HVAC work in the future (which I suspect we will), there's no doubt that we'll call Compass!

Very good. Price was much better than the comparable Trane unit (Trane and A.S. are the same product) quoted from another local comapny. Installers worked hard and the job was completed in one day. They were very careful to not make a mess.

I bought my house a little over a year and when I was in the process of closing like three days before closing the compressor went out on it. And for the previous owner hadn't got with this company but it turned out it was a very very old system so he was kind enough to approach me and say you know I can put a new compressor in but it's a really really old system or we can work it out and pay you know he paid part and I paid part so I ended up putting a new one in but he had a, I asked him about the company and he said he had used them for years plus I knew it was old I knew that it was coming so I had already been researching places and I have narrowed it down to five and that company was on the list. They seemed really nice, I've got a nice system. I had a question about it not too long ago and a guy came out, he was very nice answered my questions and didn't charge me anything so it came with a ten year warranty and he said this is all under your warranty. I've been very happy with it. They were prompt, they cleaned up they didn't leave a mess anywhere, I did not have any issues with it so they did good work.

I contacted Compass to come out and do an annual maintenance on my HVAC unit they installed two years ago.  They scheduling desk called ahead of time to let me know they were on their way, and they arrived exactly as promised by 8 am.  The technician spent about 45 minutes cleaning and inspecting my unit and diagnosed it with a clean bill of health!  Compass' team of technicians are always friendly and on time.

Initially, the technician thought the unit needed two different parts for the repair. I approved the repair and the cost since heat in the winter is important! When he returned with the parts he installed the controller board first and tried the unit. Since it worked he felt that the unit didn't need the installation of the second part. He tested the unit and it was putting out regular heat and auxiliary heat. This of course reduced the cost of the repair for me.
Very honest technician and I most certainly appreciate that. I would not hesitate to call this company again or recommend them.

I hired Compass through the TVA Energy Right program to install a new heating and air conditioning unit for me, and to clean my air ducts.  After I contacted the folks at the Energy Right program they provided me a list of contractors to use and based on recommendations from friends I selected Compass.  A representative from Compass contacted me the same day and set up an appointment for the next day.  One of the owners came out and measured every room in my home, checked the insulation in my walls and ceiling, and inspected my current unit.  After that he sat down with me and worked out the size of my home and gave me several recommended units to look at that would work for my size home.  He emailed me the next day with actual quotes.  After I decided on what I wanted I contacted them to let them know it took about a week before they could start work.  Since it was so hot they actually loaned me a window air conditioner unit to use that week so I didn't have to suffer so much with the heat.  They arrived on a Saturday and had my old unit out within a couple of hours.  They hooked a huge vaccuum truck up to the duct system and pulled all the air backwards through each vent individually while spraying some deodorizer and mold killer through each vent to clean them all before installing the new unit.  

They worked the rest of the afternoon on Saturday installing my new unit and near the afternoon I was told that because of the configuration of my ducts there was a problem installing the unit and they couldn't finish that day.  They were going to have to bring a guy back on Monday to help them.  After a couple of hours more they were still outside and I went to check, and they said they'd checked with their boss and he told them to keep working and make sure I had air conditioning by that night.  Sure enough, they had some air conditioning working within another couple of hours.  They did end up coming back on Monday to finish the heat part of the unit and seal everything up.  

All in all the crew was great!  They were 'rugged' as most installers usually are, but very kind and very respectful of my home.  They cleaned up after themselves very well and made sure that I knew the basics of how to control my unit before leaving.  I'm VERY happy with everything!

Things went well overall. There was a little confusion over when they were coming out. I had called the previous day at closing time but said i did not need to pay the overtime emergency service. I thought they were coming out the next morning, so I ended up waiting thinking they were coming. I then called to verify and was not on the list so someone dropped the ball.  They did come out that afternoon though after I called. Marty was polite and explained the problem.  He added an extra $80 for inspecting the other two units. I guess the $80 service call charge only covered one unit, or he was charging for extra time?  I am not sure.  I guess it was pretty standard charges.  125 for compressor contact, 80 for coolant (a little over 3 lbs added), and 160 for labor/service.

They have done great work for us. We usually have had the same technician, Marty, come out and he has been very knowledgeable and takes time to explain everything to us. Whenever we have a problem, they are pretty prompt about coming out.

The owner of the company came by and explained everything. He had various brands and explained the pros and cons of every brand very thoroughly and gave me a real good estimate for everything that I was interested in so that I could choose. He was very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them because they were very courteous. The people who worked for him have been the same for years and they were very clean. They cleaned up after the work themselves. I have no complaints at all.

I am very happy with what they did. Their price was reasonable with other competitors. When he came out for the estimate he considered the size of the house, the window types, direction of the windows and the insulation in the house. He really sized the unit properly.

Very well. The receptionist was very helpful when i made the initial appointment and gave me the quick summary of the warranty and service plan over the phone. The company rep came out within 24 hours to give a free estimate - I did not feel any pressure at the time of the estimate, and took my sweet time deciding between companies. I went with compass because I felt they would really look out for me, and they did. As it was going to be about 2 weeks before they could install a new unit (this was the height of summer and their busy season), they sent out a repairman to fix my old nonfunctioning AC unit to tide me over until they could place the new one. This was free of charge, and the repairman told me if this unit crashed again to call and he'd come out and repair it again or they would lend me window units until they could replace my old system. The work was completed within about 3 days; workers were all very polite, respectful, and thorough. Passed kub inspection and unit is A+.

They worked very hard to get the job done and they did, so in about 2 or 3 days. I didn t have to stay on top of them and they always called and showed up on time each day. I was impressed with the cost and there weren t any hidden charges. They explained to me the work that was done each day and politely answered any questions I might have had. I felt safe with them in my home.
